Someone recently sent anonymous donations to me. When I tried to send that person a thank you, not only for the donations, but for doing so anonymously, I was not able to, apparently BECAUSE the donation was anonymous.
What a fantastic approach to the teachings of Jesus about giving in secret. Because the number of blessings can, apparently, easily run into the hundreds of millions, and even billions, it's hard for me to appreciate the numbers at all. But, still, I feel genuinely inspired. A system in which we are not able to personally thank those who help us anonymously? Wonderful.
Anyway, I won't say "thank you" in this post, but rather, simply to use this situation as an excuse to further promote Jesus' teachings and the virtue of giving in secret.
Long live the teachings of Jesus! (^5!)
