Give/Take advice

Some of us our jacks of all and masters of none. Others of us may only be gifted or skilled in only one thing. I don't know, but whatever your area is let it be known so that others may look over this thread and reach out to you if they need to ask you advice. Thanks!

I'll post mine. I operate in 3 of the fivefold ministry gifts of the Spirit. Two are to come later when God uses me to plant a church (Pastor and teacher) These are things I'd rather not carry about as titles here because 1. There are designated chaplains already assigned here to minister to peoples spiritual needs. 2. I would rather avoid debate which typically occurs when you get in certain contexts of CF (everyone's got an opinion)

i'm also very patient. which contrary to a lot of charismatics who will talk of all the signs and wonders God does thru them, is not the first sign of an apostle.

there's slight differences (depending on who is listing them) best way to find out which ones we have imo is by praying and starting to exercise them. i've tried doing things in other areas and found out quickly that they werent for me. I believe the internet has assessments for spiritual gifts that help determine which ones you might have.

yeah it does say we should seek spiritual gifts; he even goes on to say especially that you prophesy. anyway, rock on.

i don't know what my gifts are. I feel like im kind of going through a dry time recently in all honesty. Ill have to pray about what my giftings aree.

Its okay.. Ive felt like that for a long time... Just have to push through and keep seeking God, I'm saying what I also need to do as well.

Yea thanks, that's what I'm doing, I'm pretty much seeking His will for my life because I don't really have a ''vision'' for my life yet.

I'm in the same boat. Trying to do what I know what to do and just try to let God put everything in place.

yea it can be difficult, don't give up. ive been through so many hard times, most of which were from my own folly though, but I know there is no other choice. praying for you.

Advice: If you are going to give blood, eat a steak two days before donating and go in very hydrated. The steak will increase your iron but it takes two days ... and being hydrated makes it easier to find a vein and you will finish sooner.

I am a master at determining temperature, wind direction, and placement of the sun in determining the time and direction of my daily walks.

I have lots of advice to give about traditional art, digital art, and sewing, and also a little about writing. I'm always happy to share what I've learned from my experiences, but so far I haven't met many people who wanted advice on those things here.

As for my spiritual gifts, I don't know which ones I have for the most part. I believe I have the gift of celibacy, but at the same time I don't have the courage to reach out to others.

If you plan to smoke a punchy Cuban cigar - a bigger one, say, with a 60-odd ring gauge, then slam a sugary drink and eat some chocolate about twenty minutes beforehand (preferably on a full stomach too). I once experienced "the reversal of fortune" in London during my early days, after I went in a bit unprepared with one of my first biggies.

Nicotine stimulates the central nervous system, causing a very sudden drop in glucose. It's so sudden in fact, that the effects come on quicker than the depletion itself. It's quite possibly the worst feeling in the world. The nausea is actually so shocking, that it turned me (of all people) whiter than milk and had me trembling for about a quarter of an hour.

I guess my gift is to make the mistakes that you don't have to make. I'm one of the crash test dummies of the world...
