Let's not forget that the progs need 20 REGULAR members to get their new forum. Think maybe this influx has anything to do with that?

Actually, I highly doubt any of the CARM individuals are aware of the politics going on here or our desire to get our own forum. I also highly doubt many of them would much care either if they were aware.

From what I can gather reading the thread over there about CF, I think it's more of the car-wreck syndrome. They have been hearing about the outrageous theological statements and claims of the Trads here and I suppose some of them just had to come and see for themselves to believe it.

And no, neither I nor any other Prog regular here I know of started the thread or invited them. It is entirely their own doing. I believe it was Lebesgue who started the thread.

I don't even post on CARM any more.

They are formers, not progressives. So that wouldn't help with getting a prog forum. I think they are coming to debate Adventist doctrines.
