my girlfriend is hearing stuff about me that isn't true and i don't know what to do....can you help me...i mean she hears these thigns that i have had oral sex and sexual intercourse but its not true...waht do i do...can you help? i mean i don't want her to believe these things cause they aren't true... i guess if she really cared she would believe me...but i don't konw

Hmmm...well...I just have a question...why would stuff like that be going around in the first place??? And how long have you been going out for? Just sit her down and tell her the truth...whatever that may be. Be sincere about it too.... Good Luck!

I agree, sit down, talk with her, and tell her the complete truth, no matter what it is, if you love her like you say you do, you should be able to tell her everything, no matter how personal, yeah, some of the stuff you may have to tell her could make you nervous that you'll lose her, I know that feeling, but tell her anyway, it'll grow a huge trust if you tell her EVERYTHING, without holding anything back. Mark, why would someone say something like that about you?

If you are a man of good character, then let it speak for itself. If you are not, then there are reasons why those accusations are against you.

If she won't believe you when you tell her the truth, then either you are not trustworthy, or she is unwilling to trust, or both. So think about who you are as a person, and do what you can. Self realizations are great, lead to much change.

Of course you need to talk to her about, and ask her who she heard those rumors from. Find the source or try to figure out where or how those rumors came about. In the mean time of that talk to her about it and try to explain to her that those things aren't true.

Also - sit down and talk with her. relationships are built on trust and if these things are NOT true adn she will rather believe the rummors and not you - then you should not be with her.

if there is not trust in the relationship then that relationship WILL have problems down the road.

I disagree with Dave on this. I was a quiet girl in highschool, who never went to parties and never dated, who never really got near a guy except my best friends. But there were still awful rumors about me even though I had done nothing to deserve them.

Talk to her. She'll have a hard time knowing what to believe until you tell her straight out.
