Well this girl that likes me. She has liked me for awhile but i don't know how serious she is. I mean i am ready to have a serious relationship that will last awhile. maybe even marriage in the long run. SO what should i do? should i hang out with her to get to know her more but i already konw her pretty well...if you can help that would be great. i just need to know what i should do.

its more on the fact is it if i really want a girlfriend or not...yea i like her...but that doesnt mean that it should be..i mean do i really want her as a girlfriend...

My man, you dont need a girlfriend right now, you're 16, and only 16 once, trust me you cant go back, but I have tried. You arent ever really ready for a relationship( 21 or 35 they just happen), because each one is different and eah person that you form a relationship with has different needs. Focus on school right now, and your youth group, lots of girls are gonna like you and you may like lots of girls but still......... hangout with her, i would say in a group setting, but make it clear to her that its nothing more then that. Live it up, enjoy the freedom. There is alot to having a girlfriend, become really good friends, and let it go from there, if she really likes you she'll understand.

I agree with warrior poet, EXCEPT, girls tend to think guys really like us and are "dating" us if they keep hanging out with us alot! Make sure you make it clear to her that you're going to get to know each other and that you don't feel ready for the type of commitment a relationship brings just yet. Chances are she isn't either and might feel relieved that you brought it up Enjoy being 16 and being in youth! You've got lots and lots of time to date !

Thats great. Tho just get to know her. Keep having female friends and that, that way when god shows you someone you already know her enough to understand whether it is just you talking. or god.
