Ok,
So I enjoy working with leather...making tool bags and things that people enjoy.

Now I seen that the shop I buy leather and tools at has some rabbit pelts.

I was thinking about taking some of this and making a couple of small children's sized journals...put a piece of a cat's collar on it and a label on the inside saying "Fluffy Thoughts"

Maybe even a small bell and name tag saying "Fluffy"

All this for my nieces for Christmas...
My wife says nooo

I'm thinking "What's the harm?"

Opinions and thoughts?

I'm with you... I don't see much harm.

If woman can do things like bake cookies, cakes, pies, casseroles etc. and give them out at various times e.g. for the holidays, to new neighbors moving in, to people grieving for lost relatives etc. There is no reason that a guy who likes to work with his hands can't do something similar.

did your wife say no because of the rabbit pelts?

rabbits are often pets for children
one of my sisters & one of husband's sisters each had a rabbit as a pet

personally, we would not keep such a gift
.....have to be honest
