EV Free is one of the Free Church Protestant denominations CF categorizes as Anabaptist. (I think ) Theologically, Covenant and EV Free are part of the same family, falling somewhere between the English Baptists and the Dutch and German Mennonites on the continuum.

Gracias Crazy Liz. That helps b/c I hadn't seen anything concerning EVF's anywhere. I don't know much about specific denoms, I try to look at doctrinal beliefs when I visit a church, and mine is spot on, IMO.

What are your hobbies, likes and dislikes, what hymn touches your heart, which Bible translation do you use, etc.

Hobbies: (Outside of reading the Bible, prayer, etc.) Full contact karate, judo and jujitsu.
I like to watch mixed martial arts fighting.
I dislike slackers.
Amazing Grace, what else?
KJVonly, but sometimes I peek at the NKJ when reading the Reformation Study Bible.

Just wanted to get to know the people I call brother and sister and fight with so often.

I enjoy my computer. Im a movie theater fanatic i've seen almost every movie in the theater right now. I slack sometimes. I enjoy reading and hangin out.

Oh yea I'm an ESV only man. I peak at my KJV when satan hides my ESV

Hobbies: Making website graphics with psp, building websites, playing 4 player James Bond, and spades (which my sis in law and I lose horribly at)

Likes: AWANA!!! Sunsets. Cool evenings outside on the porch. Singing songs at night with my oldest daughter.

Dislikes: Judgemental people. Rainy days. Clothes shopping. Soap Operas.

Hymn: I Love You Lord (my daughter and I sing this at nights...I love you Lord and I lift my voice..... to worship you, oh my heart rejoice. Take joy my king..... in what you hear. Make it a sweet sweet sound in your ear)

Bibles: NIV because it's easier for me to understand.

I really love people who dislike other people when they are:

Judgemental people

People who just won't let things pass.

Lax Christians

people who think of themselves more highly than they ought

Christians who've forgotten where they came from, Christians who don't love 'hilariously'

wishy-washy liberals

people telling me they are going to do something and then don't do it

Stupid people

fake people, liars, backstabbers

Sneaky people

I dislike slackers.

Now I know that you guys probably don't "dislike" or "hate" anybody. Infact i know that most of you mean you dont like those habits inside of people. But call me a stickler for little things because we've got unbelievers running around these forums, reading that we dislike these kinds of people. Becareful of your idle words.

and there is nothing wrong with that (being a stickler). In fact you are correct even about all of the above.

My deepest apologies if I offended or hurt anyone. I certainly should have worded mine better.

My hobbies: I like to do artsy stuff, create things, write poems, short stories, CF.

Likes: I like hanging out with my friends, music, travel, internet, doing artsy things, encouraging, sharing my faith, working with kids.

Dislikes: arguing, seeing christians not acting Christlike, seeing handicap people being made fun of, ridiculed.

Hymns: I have several I guess the main one is Amazing Grace.

Bible Translation: mostly KJV

hobbies: running as many kids that will fit in van to youth group, killing mosquitoes, walking, biking, reading, cutting hair of anyone that is brave enough, taking digital pictures, gardening

Hobbies: Cycling: I like to ride and race my moutain bike. Rock Climbing: one of the youth from church that I mentor I got him interested in that and now he has gotten so good he goes to climbing competitions. Studying anything that has to do with the Jewish roots of Christianity. Motorsports: watching Formula 1 and World Rally (no Nascar!!!)

Likes: Seeing people actually living out Jesus' teachings, Pizza Hut Pepperoni Lovers pizza, anything carbon fiber, taking a nap with my 9 week old baby boy and my beagle,

Dislikes: Hypocrites, legalism

Hyms: The Mars Hill Worship band doing "Be Thou My Vision" and "Come Thou Fount"

Likes: Watching my chidren "Get It", my wife, reading, Pacers (basketball) People doing good things for other people without wanting anything in return. Thunderstorms, I LOVE thunderstorms. Mountains.

Dislikes: The Holy Spirit not dwelling within me. Thumping of car stereo systems. Jets goin gover my house at 3am when my 2 year old is trying to sleep and we have to be up at 4am. (sorry) People acting like something they're not.

Shopping for awesome bargins and unusual items, cats, gold fish, the band Skillet, late 80s/early 90s Christian rock, caffine free mountain dew, smiley face stuff, butterflies and dragon flies, Marc Chagalls art work, mexican and italian food, Burts Bees lip balm and baby powder, Aveeno lotion, bananas, blue and white porcelin decrotive items, scented candles, retro, modern and shabby chic decor combined to be uniquely me

Dislikes: Rude people who feel like its their right to make nasty remarks about you because of your appearence in public and humiliate you, dishonesty, pain, poverty, predjudice, snakes, spiders, roaches, slugs (lol i live in the country by a lake, they all tend to be a problem, even have had a skink lizard and snake in my house! lol), cat vomit (i have a cat who is semi-bulemic, she over eats and throws up), ppl who deny God exists (romans 1:20), public smoking, any food product that involves innards of an animal or a baby animal, the fact that fashion has made it acceptable to run around half naked! OK.. i have some issues... lol
