Mornin' all.... well, it's March now.... when will spring come?...lol. It's still a bit chilli up here, even at 40 degrees. Can't wait for late spring, early summer.

Yes, I feel like singing. Hi everyone! Maddi you say it was 40...It's going to be near 75 here, but we had a few drops of rain yesterday after only one other day of sprinkles in over three months. BTW, I was born in Indiana.

Larry and Valentine: thanks for coming to the thread on the wineskins and sharing. Every so often I start a shortie there and send out a few notices...Glad you saw the one here on G.E.

What more can I say...except have a very good day...

LOL, Larry. you'll find it! ..... btw, like the farmer get-up today. I'm hopein' to go on a shopping spree in a couple days too...lol. ( you know us girls... alway's wanting clothes...hehe.) Bird.... I'm in North Indiana....for now, hubby and I are hopein' get the transfer to Georgia in a couple months.

RE: finding the stuff you bought. Click below your user name on any of your posts. A box will appear with several options. Then click on "view public profile". The stuff you bought (CF character armour and special items) should show up on the bottom of your profile page unless you have disabled it in your options.

Hi, all! I've been a member for a while, but it's certainly interesting to read about/get to know y'all.

My name is Kathy; I'm married (18 years now) and the mom of a 30 y.o. daughter who's blessed me with a wonderful SIL and two of the most precious grandchildren in the world. I'm still working outside the home (I love my job, and the benefits are great -- so I can take off at virtually a moment's notice to go to the zoo with DD & grandkids -- like I did yesterday when it got up to 74 here ). We have two kitties and two dogs (a lab and a golden). I'm the treasurer at my church; my hobbies include counted cross stitching, quilting, watching MLB & NHL (rabid fan of the St. Louis Cardinals and the St. Louis Blues ), working in the garden/yard, and reading.

Looking forward to getting to know more of you -- and blessings to all!

So happy to read this nice posts and see all the pretty things everybody's buying!!! I love this Forum. My time's kind of limited too lately. Birdy, I loved your thought-evoking post about the wineskins. How I wish I could just spend hours and hours reading all the posts in the spiritual threads, but alas, there is no one here to do laundy, cook, work in the yard, walk the dogs, clean the house, etc. but lil' ole me. Do yall think that as we mature we get things done just a little bit slower than we did a few years back? Or . . . do we just not do it as fast because it isn't as important?????

Hey Kathy, welcome to the Eagles Nest. I'm from Indiana, up north tho. Have 2 great kid's...20 yr old, and 17 yr old. (boy/girl.) No gr-kid's. And no job outside the house. I been here at CF almost a week now, and I really enjoy it! Some of the other forums can get a bit over my head tho, but I like readin' them. Hope ya come back often.

Howdy Kathy - I'm new around here myself. Welcome. It's a lot of fun to just lighten up and participate in the fun things here I think I just said fun twice.

There are many areas on these forums and I've only been to a few so have got lots of exploring to do myself. I like the in depth topics but... sometimes the discussions get a little heavy for my taste.

Oh well back to my chores on the farm.

Love the outfit!!!!! Those big furry slipper make my feet too hot, so I don't have a pair of those. I too love to "Forum shop". Its much cheaper than doing the real thing. Its a lot of fun to change the character around to suit my mood.

Larry, I am not coming through clearly. The time is not calculated here; you can spend as much time as you want 'replying' to threads...which we call 'posting'. You simply mentioned how your time was limited and I agreed --so was mine. It was just a busy day for me yesterday, had company, and much to do. But today I plan to post more on CF. God bless you

Hi - I am fairly new here myself. You will find that not every thread on this particular forum is visited regularly. At least that's the way it seems to me, so don't be disappointed. Just jump right in and introduce yoruself to everyone and talk away. You'll find a lot of good people here.
