CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I was wondering for a min there.. the pics didn't load the first time I looked at this thread.
Whew.. now I can see the lil pics though..
I think the reason we're wearing blue though.. is because white is see-through... no need for a white-robe contest!
any other reason we could be wearing blue in paticular??

Just want to say a big THANK YOU to everyone for your kind words, prayers and support for my "dunking" on the 15th. It was a blast!! They even let me come up for air ....eventually!! Just kidding!
Also my congratulations for those who were also baptised on the same day and those who are about to be.
One funny thing....I had to wear this awful but traditional long white gown ( yes I had plenty of non-see through clothes on underneath!!) BUT the Pastor wore a white Blues Brothers t-shirt with "on a mission from God" written on the front of it!!!
It was quite funny! Ya had to be there!!
I will try to post a pic as soon as I get one.
Oh and those wondering about my Holy Spirit infilling line...basically I just meant that I wanted prayer to receive all the blessings that the Holy Spirit has to offer me...I want to be that light that shines for the Lord, I want to be all that He wants me to be and I need all the help I can get!
