Ok, so for graduation next week I am getting a brand new dell xps140 notebook. I got a linksys WRT54G wireless router. Any experience with either this notebook and/or router. If so, what did you think.

I've been using the WRT54G in my home for over a year and have had no problems with it. Of course, it's the one and only wireless router I've ever owned so I can't offer any comparison for you. There are a bunch of reviews at Tom's Hardware:

I make a living by setting up WRT54G routers for people. They are low-end versions of the Cisco line but they work like a dream. I've only seen one of them ever go bad and that was the one we use in the shop. In defense of that router, we've flashed it several times and put it through the ringer.
