I know the buzz is all about the new Coldplay album, but I haven't heard anyone mention the new disc by The White Stripes. Did anyone buy it? I think it's pretty good...not nearly as solid as White Blood Cells, but a definite step up from Elephant, which I didn't think was that bad.

 

[The Theory]

I like it. I'm not sure I like the piano obsession on the cd, but overall it's a fun album. The first track was outstanding, though.

I disagree with you about White Blood Cells, though... I thought that album was horrid-- the rest of TWS cds are excellent.

I thought it was just okay, definitely better than Coldplay, but not better than Shakira's new spanish album.

I am QUITE impressed with it. I've only had the chance to go through it once, but I am looking forward to having more time and really sitting down with it.

My friend went away for the week, and left it in my posession!!
Lots more piano, which isnt something I am use to hearing from them.

You know, the first time I saw the album title, I thought it said Get Behind Me Stan. Other than that, I've only heard the current single, so I can't really comment.
