Get Backers is so cool. its an anime about two people who have special powers. one of them: Midou Ban has the power of "snake bite" which is his hand bearing a power of 200kg!! and he has his "evil eye" which makes people hallucinate for one minute. And there's Amano Ginji he can generate electricity up to milions of volts. These group are a pair of retriveal team which returns anything that's stolen. But I'm a bit cautious cause people starts to tell me off when I say "evil eye":banned: ughhh... .

*snort* If you're scared of bishonen, that pretty much takes care of 70% of the series out there. (Yeah, tons of anime have the standard pretty boy.) I love him though. I want to braid his hair. XD

I'm so addicted to that series. It's one of the few that I can watch over and over and over. It's ironic that an originally shounen manga attracted a way bigger female fanbase when the anime came out. No wonder though, with all the yummy fanservice included. Aka, the hot springs episode. I took a whole lot of caps from that one. And i had to delete some of your smilies because it said there were too many.

I haven't seen Get Backers yet, but my friend tells me that it's a really cool series. I'm definitely interested in seeing it when it comes to the US. She sent me this screencap, which she says is from a scene where Akabane fed Ginji apples.

It's one of my favorites. I'm a huge sucker for comedy, and this series is full of it. Plus, tons of implied shouned ai to boot. XDXDXD I nearly had a seizure after I saw some of the animage pics. I also love Akabane.. and Ginji... and Ban.... and Kazuki.. and Juubei... okay I love them all. ^___^;; Akabane and Ginji's relationship cracks me up as well. Poor Ginji, he gets stuck with Akabane for about 10 straight eps if I remember correctly. He nearly dies of stress. Haha, I loved that part of the series.

Ginji's really cute in manners.
i'm just disappointed that we don't see much of Mido's background (and he's supposed to be a main character?) and that the ending practically leaves you hanging even though everything's supposed to be finished according to the very last bit.

Ban-kun and Ginji-kun are both main characters. There's 2 main characters thats all.
Oh ya the episode that ginji was fed an apple is soooo funny, The minute before he fell on an electric wire his face was so funny, then jackal comes, then ginji faints.. hehe the next thing he knows he's being fed by akabane apels(with a knife??? He's sick!!) But jackal is so anoying he wont die even after taking the "BIG" punch by Ban he should have died. BUT since it's "mugenjou" he doesn't die.......... Ginji is definetly the funniest guy in the whole anime.

Kadsuki IS 100% guy!! It's because of his technique.... "ITO" which means thread or string. That's why in the anime since he was small he had to wear a kimono!!! Which is for girls!!! But defintely it is best that kadsuki is 100% girl. I agree to that. Oh and REN(The "guy" who saved kadsuki from dying because of jubei is 100% girl!!. so.....)

I liked the first 25 episodes although after that point i found the animation got worse and the story a little rushed.

All in all a great series though

Get backers ? that's one of my favourite anime the story is interesting. I like it so much . I like Ban and Ginji, juubei kakei is also cool, his flying needle is deadly by the way Get Backers is suppose to end now ,I'm sad. Is there any Get Backers 2 ? if you get any information please tell me OK
