Germany: Eight suspected right-wing militants arrested. 'Saxon Separatists' have "racist, antisemitic, and in some cases apocalyptic ideas"

Germany's Federal Public Prosecutor announced on Tuesday that eight suspected members of a right-wing militant group had been arrested in a series of raids across three countries and involving hundreds of officers.

The statement said the group plotted to seize power in the state of Saxony and potentially other eastern German states "to establish governmental and societal structures inspired by National Socialism."

"Even ethnic cleansing was part of their inhuman plans," Justice Minister Marco Buschmann said in a statement

The AfD is officialy designated as extreme right wing and some of their politicians can be officially called fascists, including one of their most prominent members, Björn Höcke.

In general people love to accuse the opposition of the thing that they are doing. The quicker, the better. That way, any return accusations look weaker and you put the enemy on defense.

Not as in Russia, where private property was basically abolished. In Germany there was still an owner class even for heavy industry when it was commandeered. As for smaller concerns, I think they carried on as normal private enterprise.

Look into the German Worker's Party, the forerunner of the Nazi party, where Hitler was explicitly attracted by its anti-capitalist ideas.

Yes, for smaller concerns. Hitler was smarter than Stalin, and didn't concern himself with how many shoes were produced each year for the nation.

You have infighting within pretty much every group. Donald Trump is considered a conservative, and immediately upon his announcement to run for president in 2016 there sprang up the "never Trumpers" among traditional conservatives like George Will. In 2024, Ben Shapiro didn't support Trump, Matt Walsh didn't, Ann Coulter didn't.
