  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

I just hate that people think dressing is the only way to be sexy.

Me too. Or that it's just all about a certain body type and so on. What gets me are these folks who think that you have to be some kind of walking skeleton in order for people to think you're attractive. Take this for example: I have a friend of mine who lives in Atlanta. She's not supermodel thin, by any means, which is great. She's a very healthy looking young lady, even if she does have a little meat on her bones, which is fine. Frankly, I'm head over heels about her, and for more than just her looks, of course, but...well...you understand...it's a perk, I guess...I think she's gorgeous, but that's my personal opinion  . She doesn't agree, of course, and I think part of that may be that our society puts too much pressure on folks to look like the pictures in some magazine. Frankly, those kind of excessively skinny girls make me want to vomit. Now, I'm not talking about those who naturally look like that. That's something different, and even they don't look that bad compared to some of these folks like that Ally McBeal girl or that Jennifer Anniston girl. You know what I'm talking about, right?

Sheesh...all this pressure on folks to look a certain way...it just can't be healthy.
