You know I just got done watching one of the new Star Wars Movie. I guess I haven't watched it since I have been saved (shows how long I have been saved), but I was curious on his religious viewpoints. If anyone knew. I see a large metaphor and it seems like Christians especially are attracted by the whole Star Wars idea. Maybe it's just me eh? Anyways post replies as you will. YBIC.

IMHO, in the George Lucas universe :

The Sith = Christians
The Jedi = Pagans

Why do we feel the need to turn EVERYTHING into an allegory?

It's a fantasy story, Lucas doesn't hold to any particular belief system as far as I know.

It doesnt realy matter, the fact is sith beat jedi hands down.

And that's saying something with the Sith penchant for horribly convoluted plots and turning on each other for no good reason.

Anybody here heard of The Rolling Stone´s "Gimme Shelter" concert flick ? It is considered by many to be the first ever commercially released SATANIC SNUFF FILM. During the song " Sympathy for the Devil" a brawl breaks out near the stage and a young man gets stabbed by the Hell´s Angels .

Guess who was one of the camera men who caught that attrocity on film ...

George Lucas...so wouldn´t be so quick to put the whole Sith = Christianity thing as being beyond Lucas´ scope.
