Geocaching??

Anyone here geocache? My husband is OBSESSED. We started last summer and he has over 1300 finds. I go but not nearly as often as him. I do think it's fun though. I like Earth Caches and Virtuals the best. Anyone else?

Yeah, I geocache occasionally. But between college and work, I don't get out as much as I would like. But when I do go, it's always a lot of fun. Maybe we'll find more of our kind on here!

My husband is up to 1400 caches found now. He hasn't even been doing this for a year!

I geocache here in Virginia. I got into it about a month ago, only have 26 finds.

Indeed. I love geocaching but I hardly have time to get outside these days thanks to work and school

I've done it a bit, it's a good way to see cool places that only the locals would know about. I've helped a few travel bugs along their way - when I go out of town on a trip I try to remember to see if there are any in the area so I can take them across the country.

1300 finds in under a year is quite a feat... obsessed is perhaps the right word but I sure can think of worse hobbies.

I had family who hunted one and the coordinates ended up being in the middle of a lake.

It's not so unusual though. There are a lot of sea caches too.

My parents and I cache. I've got over 150 finds. I can go for weeks without finding anything, then have a huge increase in numbers. My favorite has to be the virtuals. I learn so much from them!

I love caching too - we have just hit 800 (it's taken us a few years as there are not so many caches where we live).

Do you know there is a Christian Geocaching Association too? Just do a serach - run by dudleyGrutn I believe

I like taking my family and we go out caching. We just got back as a matter of fact. We only found three today though. We enjoy taking the dogs when the weather is nicer and we find a nice trail with a few caches on it.

I love geocaching - it's amazing how many places locally I had never really explored until I started geocaching a year ago. On about 300 finds now (only one FTF), I love puzzle caches

My family enjoys it, but we don't go as frequently as when we started last year. I think it's great because it's free, it's outside, and is enjoyed by three generations of my family. It also takes us to some really cool nearby places that we never even knew were there!
