why is it immoral to genetically alter anything? if we can find a way to produce a crop that can potentially feed thousands of people by genetically altering it enough to withstand drought or infestation, how is that wrong?
take it a step further and go to cloning. what is wrong with cloning animals for food? what about cloning body parts of humans so that we can save the lives of people in need of a new heart? what about the entire person? what is immoral about cloning an entire human being so that parents which can not conceive may have children?
