Do angels indwell flesh?
No.
They have their own bodies; the disembodied spirits of their sons indwell flesh, roaming earth seeking houses [bodies] to indwell, since they were killed. Their bodies will never rise again, being genetically cloned from Adam flesh but of the spirits foul, come of their wicked fallen angel fathers.

Angels did genetic engineering to take the daughters of Adam's eggs and put within them thier own "spirit" to multiply.
If you read the book of 1 Enoch, Enoch says the sons of God taught their human being wives "root cuttings" -genetic engineering- and that the disembodied spirits of their offspring would roam earth, tormenting the flesh of mankind, seeking 'houses' to do their evil in, until the appointed day of their judgment because they came of Adam flesh, but their spirits were not lawful creations, but abominations and foul.

You can read it here, at ccel.org.

On another note, the daughters of Adam who married the sons of God became sirens, said Enoch; and two women who can only be described as sirens took the iniquity, the woman in a basket [Zechariah 5] held down with the lead lid- to the land of Shinar -Iraq- to set up a base for her there "Mystery Babylon" -and the final man of sin rises 'from the abys"', is an Assyrian, and a final king of Babylon who takes up Nimrod & Co's rebellion against God again and is destroyed by the btrightness of the coming of the LORD Jesus Christ to reign over His purchased kingdom -but the final man of sin cannot be revealed until after the Church is removed in perfected bodies of their "priesthood" and taken to heaven's Holy of Holies to celebrate their consecration as priests for the seven days [Leviticus 8 types it in the oracles], which is seven years back on earth of the Great Tribulation [Isaiah 26:19-21 and chapter 27; Numbers 10:1-7; Psalm 50; Psalm 75:2,3 [in Hebrew, the rapture is the "laqach"; .

Isaiah 14 shows the continuation of the battle begun by Nimrod by another king of Babylon to come.
Zechariah 5 shows the "mystery of iniquity" -the woman in the "basket for measuring"- taken there to be set on her "base": and the "women" are "sirens" "women depicted with wings like storks as pr Enoch's description of the women who married sons of God, who take the "woman" in the basket there.

Not one thing of this can be fulfilled until the Church is removed from earth, for the final man of sin cannot be revealed until the "Man Child" the Church as perfected sons of God, is taken to the temple in heaven, for then the brightness of the LORD's shining will be gone from the entire earth -as Amos says, and the night comes, of earth's last "day" the seventh "thousand", which night ends with the "Appearing" of the Day Star, Jesus Christ.

Amo 5:20 [Shall] not the day of the LORD [be] darkness, and not light? even very dark, and no brightness in it?

2Th 2:8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:

Zechariah 5;
Vision of the Woman in a Basket
5 Then the angel who talked with me came out and said to me, "Lift your eyes now, and see what this is that goes forth."
6 So I asked, "What is it?" And he said, "It is a *basket that is going forth."
He also said, "This is their resemblance throughout the earth: 7 Here is a lead disc lifted up, and this is a woman sitting inside the basket"; 8 then he said, "This is Wickedness!" And he thrust her down into the basket, and threw the lead *cover over its mouth. 9 Then I raised my eyes and looked, and there were two women, coming with the wind in their wings; for they had wings like the wings of a stork, and they lifted up the basket between earth and heaven.
10 So I said to the angel who talked with me, "Where are they carrying the basket?"
11 And he said to me, "To build a house for it in the land of *Shinar; when it is ready, the basket will be set there on its base."

So Satan has a final man of sin just "waiting in the wings" - sirens wings:)

OK kids, I've posted this briefly elsewhere, but you know, why not do it again. I mean, much easier this than someone reading over the 100 threads already in existance on the topic, right?

[/font]

There are problems with the angels thesis. First of all, angels have a term: מלאך (lit: messenger) which corresponds to the NT αγγελος "messenger." Why then is בני-אלהים used instead? (BTW, the use of I Enoch is anachronistic -- it was written mainly to EXPLAIN the absence of information, based upon a hellenistic understanding of the text. Very bad to use it for exegesis in Genesis 6). And it's also wrong to say that "sons of God" occurs only in Job and Genesis. It also most likely occurs in Deuteronomy 32:8: When the Most High gave the nations their inheritance, when he divided all mankind, he set up boundaries for the peoples according to the number of the sons of God. (This is a complicated textual issue, but suffice it to say that there is very good evidence that this is the correct reading). I'm also curious on what evidence "sons of God" in Job must mean "angels" -- I so no reason to do it.

The "sons of Seth" thesis is also wrong. The reasons are as follows:
1. The text says "sons of God." If it had meant sons of seth, it would have said so. If it had meant men, it would have said "sons of men/adam." There is nothing in the text to indicate an allegorical reading of "god" = "righteous."
2. The pericope is new in 6:1 -- do not connect it to the previous narrative. That's bad.

Another note: The book doesn't actually say that the Nephilim (lit: fallen ones) were the children of the unions: in fact, it says that they were "on the earth" at that time. It is the LXX (6:5) which renders the Hebrew Nephilim as γιγαντες (lit: giant ones) -- but there is still no indication that the unions produced the giants.

The theory I like:
Wenham has a suggestion, advanced by other scholars which I think makes the most sense. That theory is simply that the text is a polemic against Canaanite fertility cults. You remember of course that Canaanite shrines had cult prostitutes whom men would come and pay to have sex with; however, it is clear that in these rituals the idea was that the man was "posessed" by the god (a very common idea in the ancient world for which I don't see any use of citing texts), and that the sex was a way to gain the favor of the god. Combine that with Deuteronomy 32 -- the idea that the gods of the land are the "sons" of the one true god -- and you have a possibility for Genesis 6: the reason for the flood was the pagan fertility cults to other gods. Why else is the reason for the flood ascribed to MEN there -- when in fact it was the gods who had come down: except that if it was the pagan cults, then it all makes sense.
Actually 1Enoch pre-dates the New Testament and is very Christian in it's context. It was quoted from very much by Jesus, the Son of Man who was the Hidden One who was with God and was God, in 1 Enoch, who was to come to be 'revealed' to the elect- and it is there that the doctrines are taught of Sheol, the prison house below, in the belly of the earth; the eternal everlasting lake of fire; demons as disembodied foul spirits who were the seed of the fallen angels and daughters of Adam [Hebrew says daughters born of "Adam" -the human kind- in Genesis 6] of the regenration of the heavens [earth's spirit realm] and the earth, and the "uniting" of the Father and the Son with the righteous -who will dwell together forever- which righteous will be transformed by being given the eternal "garments of glory".

It is there that the doctrine of the Son of Man/Son of God, as Messiah who was to come is revealed, and revealed as Son of Man who was to come.
It is there that Enoch said after the second week [of thousands] a law would be made for sinners.
It is there that the Son of Man is seen coming on His throne of glory who will cast into the everlasting fire all the wicked at His return to reign.
It is there that Jesus quoted from when He said about Judas" it would have been better for that man to have never been born"; it is there that the grace and truth brought by that Son of Man is spoken of.
and so on and so forth.

And many early Church 'fathers' -so called- used Enoch and taught it was inspired. The Qumran 'school of prophets" used it as doctrinal text with all the Old testament Scripture excluding Esther; but not one New Testament book was found in Qumran; the Ethiopian Coptic Church has never banned it from it's canon from the beginning, which the Roman Church did do in the 400's.

And Paul was a student of Enoch, as Jude and James were [both brothers to our LORD] and Peter also, and as John was. All of them use the writings of 1 Enoch in their teaching and writings, as Jesus used them with them.
Enoch was a prophet of God, and Enoch is inspired, being indirectly quoted over 100 times in the New Testament which it certainly pre-dates.

There is nothing in the KJV or NIV that supports this view sir. I think your belief would be more suitable in the open discussion.

God Bless
You saying so does not make it true. In fact the opposite is true and the original Hebrew is totally in support of all that is written in 1 Enoch.
I have read both 1 Enoch and the Scriptures of the Old and New Testament and Enoch is the basis for the doctrines of Hell in the belly of the earth as the holding place for souls [from where the righteous were taken to Zion above at Jesus' ascension], the everlasting lake of fire prepared for the devil and his angels which all the wicked will have their share in; the Trinity; the Messiah as the Hidden in God Son of Man who was with God and was God- who was to come and is come and shall come, who rose from the dead; who will transform the heavens and the earth and the bodies of the redeemed, and of the doctrine of demons as disembodied seed of the fallen angels and daughters born in Adam.

The book relates to the entire Word of God as we have it and explains the things men argue over that can "seem vague" in the accepted canon if one has not read 1Enoch. 1Enoch clears all the muddle up and stops the mouths of those who oppose the doctrine of the Trinity, the doctrine of eternal punishment, the doctrine of the restoration of all things by the Anointed Son of Man/Son of God, the doctrine of open thiesm, the doctrine of Mid Acts dispensationalism, the doctrine of pre-destination, the doctrine of soul sleeping and so on and so forth.

And it relates to this thread as it is where the doctrine of the fallen angels who took wives of the daughters born in Adam comes from, and is fully developed -pre-New Testament- so to argue from ignorance is not neccessary, as 1 Enoch has it all laid out and that, thousands of years ago.

Jesus used the writings of 1 Enoch in much of His teaching, for He is that formerly Hidden in God concealed kept secret, whose name was secret, Son of Man who was to come, the Messiah, the Righteous elect Anointed Holy One of God who will send His angels to gather all the wicked off earth at His return and cast them into eternal torment.

-And I am a woman, a wife, a mother, a grandmother, a born again in Christ Believer -and I read for myself in the Word of God and see 1 Enoch is the basis for these things.

Isaiah 14 and Genesis 11 have the same wording as to the rebellion against God and the plan to overthrow His throne above and below by “making a name” to fill the face of the earth with -in rebellion against YHWH, who is making His own name to fill the face of the earth with; and that name is “Israel” -the New Man, as opposed to “Adam” -the old man.

AbraHAm was taken from the nations by YHWH for the purpose of His “making a name for Himself” -and that name is “New” and is “Israel“ [Isaiah 49][; and Israel will bear the glory of YHWH in the regeneration.
-In Adam all die, in Christ [the Living Spirit come in flesh as the New Man] all are made alive -as sons of God in Him.

Isaiah 14, when the mystery of iniquity again has it’s base set up in Shinar and the “Mystery Babylon” a spiritual realm of rule which sits on the seven hills of spiritual dominion over earth -which Enoch saw- and which will 'melt like wax' at the return of the LORD- is the return of that rebellion that Nimrod began.

Isaiah 14
Fall of the King of Babylon
3It shall come to pass in the day the Lord gives you rest from your sorrow, and from your fear and the hard bondage in which you were made to serve, 4 that you will take up this proverb against the king of Babylon, and say:
"How the oppressor has ceased, The golden* city ceased!
5 The Lord has broken the staff of the wicked,The scepter of the rulers;
6 He who struck the people in wrath with a continual stroke,
He who ruled the nations in anger,
Is persecuted and no one hinders.
7 The whole earth is at rest and quiet;
They break forth into singing.
8 Indeed the cypress trees rejoice over you,
And the cedars of Lebanon,Saying,
'Since you were cut down,
No woodsman has come up against us.'
9 "Hell from beneath is excited about you,
To meet you at your coming;
It stirs up the dead for you,
All the chief ones of the earth; It has raised up from their thrones
All the kings of the nations.
10 They all shall speak and say to you:
'Have you also become as weak as we?
Have you become like us?
11 Your pomp is brought down to Sheol,
And the sound of your stringed instruments;
The maggot is spread under you,
And worms cover you.

'The Fall of Lucifer
12 "How you are fallen from heaven,
O *Lucifer, son of the morning!
How you are cut down to the ground,
You who weakened the nations!1
3 For you have said in your heart:'I will ascend into heaven,
I will exalt my throne above the stars of God;

I will also sit on the mount of the congregation
On the farthest sides of the north;
14 I will ascend above the heights of the clouds,
I will be like the Most High.'

15 Yet you shall be brought down to Sheol,
To the lowest depths of the Pit.

16 "Those who see you will gaze at you,
And consider you, saying:
'Is this the man who made the earth tremble,
Who shook kingdoms,
17 Who made the world as a wilderness
And destroyed its cities,
Who did not open the house of his prisoners?'
18 "All the kings of the nations,
All of them, sleep in glory,
Everyone in his own house;1
9 But you are cast out of your grave
Like an abominable branch,
Like the garment of those who are slain,
Thrust through with a sword,
Who go down to the stones of the pit,
Like a corpse trodden underfoot.
20 You will not be joined with them in burial,
Because you have destroyed your land
And slain your people.
The brood of evildoers shall never be named. -[Nimrod & Co said "let us make a name for ourselves and fill the face of the earth with it -in Hebrew -and ascend into heaven -"Babel" is "gate of God" in the original language they spoke]

21 Prepare slaughter for his children
Because of the iniquity of their fathers,
Lest they rise up and possess the land,
And fill the face of the world with cities."

[which was the plan of Nimrod & Co in
Genesis 11]

Babylon Destroyed [-hasn't happened yet and shall]
22 "For I will rise up against them," says the Lord of hosts,"
And cut off from Babylon the name and remnant,
And offspring and posterity," says the Lord. [He will cut off the root and the branch]

23 "I will also make it a possession for the porcupine,
And marshes of muddy water;
I will sweep it with the broom of destruction," says the Lord of hosts.
Assyria Destroyed
24 The Lord of hosts has sworn, saying,
"Surely, as I have thought, so it shall come to pass,
And as I have purposed, so it shall stand:
25 That I will break the Assyrian in My land,
And on My mountains tread him underfoot.

Then his yoke shall be removed from them,
And his burden removed from their shoulders.
26 This is the purpose that is purposed against the whole earth,
And this is the hand that is stretched out over all the nations.
27 For the Lord of hosts has purposed,
And who will annul it?
His hand is stretched out,
And who will turn it back?"

He shall tread him underfoot on His mountains when He returns!

in the AV;
Isa 14:20
Thou shalt not be joined with them in burial, because thou hast destroyed thy land, [and] slain thy people: the seed of evildoers shall never be renowned [1) to call, call out, recite, read, cry out, proclaim].
Isa 14:21
Prepare slaughter for his children for the iniquity of their fathers; that they do not rise, nor possess the land, nor fill the face of the world with cities.

Isa 14:22¶For I will rise up against them, saith the LORD of hosts, and cut off from Babylon the name, and remnant, and son, and nephew, saith the LORD.
-He will cut off the "root and the stock" -genetically engineered "mighty ones" -not of Adam's one spirit [Malachi 2:15], but using Adam's flesh by gene splicing.

Genesis 11:4 says -from the Hebrew: let's make a city and tower whose "top to heaven" and make a name and scatter it over the face of the earth. -that is the rebellion which got us all speaking thousands of languages to set us back to a dark age for a while.

But God has a City -"Zion" above- and He is making "His name" "Israel", "His called" to fill the face of the earth with, and His city's top will be "to heaven".

I am not going to argue but you are slaughtering the verse. Isaish is about Israel people disobeying god. Isaiah the prophet was trying to tell Israel to repent to God before it was too late. This was his whole message through the whole book. I am not sure where you get your interpretation but I get mine from the bible. Israel was not trying to take over the kingdom of god.
Also I have read Genesis, everyone probably has here, It talks about the creation of earth, man, women and paradise, and it also talks about the fall of man and why he fell. And why God had to send them out of Garden of Eden. I think you are reading to much into scripture and twisting it perhaps.
God Bless

And also;
Where is it found in "the Scripture of Truth" which the angel read and upheld and showed to Daniel all the things from that will happen until the end of the age?

Hello -argue no -debate yes?
Enoch said the fallen angels taught the daughters born in Adam [read the original from the concordance, it is daughters born in "Adam" the sons of God took as wives], and Enoch said a specific one taught those women the "cutting of roots": now root cutting in and of itself is not a sin, as pertains to vegetating plants; but "root cutting" as pertains to Adam or to the animal kingdom is a sin, for it is gene splicing: therefore Noah was perfect in his genealogy [original Hebrew] and the animals were chosen by the LORD whom Noah was to save, with the LORD bringing the animals to Noah -not Noah collecting the animals.

Some relevant passages...
Moses in Genesis 6:1-8 (ESV) said:
When man began to multiply on the face of the land and daughters were born to them, the sons of God saw that the daughters of man were attractive. And they took as their wives any they chose. Then the LORD said, "My Spirit shall not abide in man forever, for he is flesh: his days shall be 120 years." The Nephilim were on the earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of God came in to the daughters of man and they bore children to them. These were the mighty men who were of old, the men of renown.

The LORD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intention of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. And the LORD was sorry that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him to his heart. So the LORD said, "I will blot out man whom I have created from the face of the land, man and animals and creeping things and birds of the heavens, for I am sorry that I have made them." But Noah found favor in the eyes of the LORD.

Enoch in his book 6:1-7 and 7:1 (Charles) said:
And it came to pass when the children of men had multiplied that in those days were born unto them beautiful and comely daughters. And the angels, the children of the heaven, saw and lusted after them, and said to one another: 'Come, let us choose us wives from among the children of men and beget us children.' And Semjaza, who was their leader, said unto them: 'I fear ye will not indeed agree to do this deed, and I alone shall have to pay the penalty of a great sin.' And they all answered him and said: 'Let us all swear an oath, and all bind ourselves by mutual imprecations not to abandon this plan but to do this thing.' Then sware they all together and bound themselves by mutual imprecations upon it. And they were in all two hundred; who descended in the days of Jared on the summit of Mount Hermon, and they called it Mount Hermon, because they had sworn and bound themselves by mutual imprecations upon it.

And all the others together with them took unto themselves wives, and each chose for himself one, and they began to go in unto them and to defile themselves with them.

Moses in Jubilees 5:1-8 (Charles) said:
And it came to pass when the children of men began to multiply on the face of the earth and daughters were born unto them, that the angels of God saw them on a certain year of this jubilee, that they were beautiful to look upon; and they took themselves wives of all whom they chose, and they bare unto them sons and they were giants.

And lawlessness increased on the earth and all flesh corrupted its way, alike men and cattle and beasts and birds and everything that walks on the earth -all of them corrupted their ways and their orders, and they began to devour each other, and lawlessness increased on the earth and every imagination of the thoughts of all men (was) thus evil continually. And God looked upon the earth, and behold it was corrupt, and all flesh had corrupted its orders, and all that were upon the earth had wrought all manner of evil before His eyes. And He said that He would destroy man and all flesh upon the face of the earth which He had created. But Noah found grace before the eyes of the Lord.

And against the angels whom He had sent upon the earth, He was exceedingly wroth, and He gave commandment to root them out of all their dominion, and He bade us to bind them in the depths of the earth, and behold they are bound in the midst of them, and are (kept) separate. And against their sons went forth a command from before His face that they should be smitten with the sword, and be removed from under heaven. And He said 'My spirit shall not always abide on man; for they also are flesh and their days shall be 120 years'.

Genesis 6 has nothing to do with eschatology and the belief that angels inerbred with humans is absurd.
There are many things seemingly absurd to human thought in God's word. Probably the biggest one being Jesus Christ died on the cross for your sins. I'd rather side with God's absurdities any day.

When the folks who wrote the older testament scriptures, the Jews, were the only interpreters of those scriptures the explanation of Genesis 6:1-4 was as follows, the heavenly sons of God, the Watchers (a class of angels) lusted after the daughters of mankind and conspired to break God's law, leave their assigned abode in heaven, take human wives, defile themselves by sexual relations with women and to beget children who turned out to be gigantic. That was the unified Semitic view from the period of 2nd-Temple Judaism.

This can be confirmed by anyone by picking up a copy of "The Dead Sea Scrolls Study Edition", by Florentino Garcia Martinez, Eibert J. C. Tigchelaar, and Florentino Garcia Martinez. This is THE MOST exhaustive collection of the non-Hebrew-Bible Dead Sea Scrolls that is available.

If one begins at the beginning of those volumes and proceeds to read through these fragments from hundreds of Jewish religious documents from about the time of Christ, one will get a profound sense that the preoccupation with the Watcher/Giant saga among Jewish writers during and before the time of Christ, borders on obsession. In addition to all of the books of the Hebrew Bible, the Dead Sea Scrolls include many story fragments from the lives of Lamech, Noah, Enoch, Methuselah and the rest as well as numerous accounts of the history of the Nephilim, the gigantic offspring of the Watchers.

One is stricken with the sheer lack of controversy among these writers on this point. To date, I have yet to find even one example from the period of 2nd-Temple Judaism wherein some rabbi or religious writer has a controversy with the Watcher/Nephilim thesis, though controversy abounds on other subjects.

There is evidence that this view prevailed among New Testament writers in the New Testament books as well, but that is perhaps better addressed in another post or thread.

Certainly the idea that angels could even interbreed with human women seems repugnant to our modern sensibilities and apparently it was also for the leaders of the Church from the fourth century forward. I would like to propose however, this offense to our sensibilities has more to do with Greek assumptions about the nature of angels than it does with any scriptural basis.

I have detected several areas in which the Church's ideas concerning angels are at major variance with the dominant view during the time of Christ; here are a few:

1. Angelic substantiality
Per the prevailing ideas about angels among Christians of all stripes, angels are viewed as spirits, without materiality. Western ideas about the essential differences between human carnality and angelic spirituality make the idea of angelic/human copulation seem impossible. In the Semitic writings from 2nd-Temple Judaism no such problem can be detected. There is a consensus among Semitic writers from the period that angelic spirituality as well as angelic carnality were both simultaneously real, and not mutually exclusive. The writer of the Book of Jubilees even speaks of angels having been created in a circumcised state from the beginning.

2. Angelic peccability
Per the prevailing ideas of Christians there seems to be somewhat a consensus that somewhere in very ancient times there occurred a rebellion among the members of the heavenly angelic hosts. Whatever the reasons for this rebellion, the result was certain angels aligned themselves with Lucifer, rebelled against God and thus sinning, fell. A seemingly assumed corollary to this view is the idea commonly held among Christians that those angels who did not fall, stood the test and are thenceforth immune to further testing, temptation and the possibility of sinning. No such assumptions can be detected amongst Jewish writers from the period of 2nd-Temple Judaism. Not only did angels fall during the time of Jared the father of Enoch, but previous fallings had occurred and future fallings are predicted.

For me, what Jewish writers from the time of Christ believed about this point holds more persuasive weight than when it was controverted by Christendom centuries later. To the Jews were given the lively oracles of God. The oracles were in a language whose meanings would have been more immediate to them than to us. The Jews lived closer to the times of the actual composition of those writings and thus were more likely to be the inheritors of original traditions related to their exposition, interpretation and understanding.

Genesis 6 has nothing to do with eschatology and the belief that angels inerbred with humans is absurd.
Your post would seem more reasonable if you would state your reasons.

Genesis 6 has nothing to do with eschatology and the belief that angels inerbred with humans is absurd.

Genesis 6 has a great deal to do with eschatology.

Gen 6:3 And the LORD said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also [is] flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years.

God counts time in 50's.

Lev 25:8 “ ‘Count off seven sabbaths of years—seven times seven years—so that the seven sabbaths of years amount to a period of forty-nine years.
Lev 25:9 Then have the trumpet sounded everywhere on the tenth day of the seventh month; on the Day of Atonement sound the trumpet throughout your land.
Lev 25:10 Consecrate the fiftieth year and proclaim liberty throughout the land to all its inhabitants. It shall be a jubilee for you; each one of you is to return to his family property and each to his own clan.
Lev 25:11 The fiftieth year shall be a jubilee for you; do not sow and do not reap what grows of itself or harvest the untended vines.

That passage in Genesis 6 was not about life-spans but about fallen flesh.
120 x 50 = 6000 years

Here is the passage about life-spans:

Psa 90:10The length of our days is seventy years-- or eighty, if we have the strength; yet their span is but trouble and sorrow, for they quickly pass, and we fly away.

For you to denounce the very word of God as a lie in regards to the Nephilim (or anything else you are denying in other threads) is beyond despicable....and certainly not of God.

Alright I believe in the 6 days is represenitive of 6,000 years of man, and the 7th day the millennium, but please stop with the mathimatical mumbo jumbo it proves nothing, and the ''nephilim'' is a man made belief that has nothing to do with angels God or interbred humans, it is as I said absurd.

I belive it is completely biblical

I agree....

and the ''nephilim'' is a man made belief that has nothing to do with angels God or interbred humans, it is as I said absurd.

actually, it is a hebrew word, that many have attatched their version of truth to...kinda like how rapture is a latin word that many have attatched their beliefs to...

but there is plenty of evidence for angelic/human mating found in the bible...starting in Gen3...

if you want to completly honest about the subject and the word, I suggest these few studies by Bullinger...the previews don't take all that long to read...(not some fantasy, but probably the best Christian scholar this side of John)

So, if you're being so reasonable and are immune to absurdities in a way in which neither St. Jude nor St. Peter were immune, why do you seem unable to state your reasons you believe it is absurd?

Show me where Jude or Peter taught ''nephilm'' or angel/human relations.

Gen 6:4There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare [children] to them, the same [became] mighty men which [were] of old, men of renown.

Jud 1:6And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day.

Jude quotes Enoch word for word. Jude trusted Enoch or else he would not have quoted it word for word. Jude says angels were chained until Judgment Day. Where do you think he got that idea?

"[Chapter 6]

1 And it came to pass when the children of men had multiplied that in those days were born unto 2 them beautiful and comely daughters. And the angels, the children of the heaven, saw and lusted after them, and said to one another: 'Come, let us choose us wives from among the children of men 3 and beget us children.' And Semjaza, who was their leader, said unto them: 'I fear ye will not 4 indeed agree to do this deed, and I alone shall have to pay the penalty of a great sin.' And they all answered him and said: 'Let us all swear an oath, and all bind ourselves by mutual imprecations 5 not to abandon this plan but to do this thing.' Then sware they all together and bound themselves 6 by mutual imprecations upon it. And they were in all two hundred; who descended in the days of Jared on the summit of Mount Hermon, and they called it Mount Hermon, because they had sworn 7 and bound themselves by mutual imprecations upon it. And these are the names of their leaders: Samlazaz, their leader, Araklba, Rameel, Kokablel, Tamlel, Ramlel, Danel, Ezeqeel, Baraqijal, 8 Asael, Armaros, Batarel, Ananel, Zaqiel, Samsapeel, Satarel, Turel, Jomjael, Sariel. These are their chiefs of tens.
[Chapter 7] 1 And all the others together with them took unto themselves wives, and each chose for himself one, and they began to go in unto them and to defile themselves with them, and they taught them charms 2 and enchantments, and the cutting of roots, and made them acquainted with plants. And they 3 became pregnant, and they bare great giants, whose height was three thousand ells: Who consumed 4 all the acquisitions of men. And when men could no longer sustain them, the giants turned against 5 them and devoured mankind. And they began to sin against birds, and beasts, and reptiles, and 6 fish, and to devour one another's flesh, and drink the blood. Then the earth laid accusation against the lawless ones."

As Jude states, the angels were punished, bound in a place of darkness until Judgment Day. He KNEW that because HE KNEW what Enoch 1 says.
