That raises an interesting question:


If I counted correctly a year ago then there are 15 times as many Christians as both agnostics and atheists added together in CF

so why are there so few Christians who know any science?

When cross polarized light is shone through thin slices of precious stones you get one of 2 effects, and this shows whether that stone is either isotropic or anisotropic.

You asked what the Hebrew or LXX had to do with my response.

The simple answer is I was in a panic and accidentally used the names of the 12 stones adorning the High Priest mentioned in Ex 28 instead of the 12 stones used as foundations in Revelation.

That's a pretty odd mistake, but it is the one I made.

Well I did say I did not no if it had anything to do with what you were talking about.
Don,t know if I can pinpoint time place person but it was a Rabbi who was talking at the time.
The Holy One blessed be He, does not sit in darkness, what he meant was
with our naked eye, we would be blinded, so bright is His brilliance, like we cannot look at the sun with our naked eye.
But clearly this is not what you were talking about.
I would say that adding science and Christianity makes things confusing, but that,s another side of things.Anyway, don,t bother about it, it was clearly nothing to do with the subject at hand anyway.

Here's a couple of interesting bits of information from either end of The Bible.

Firstly in Genesis.

Did you know that in the Chinese language you can reconstruct the whole story from Genesis 1-11 from the pictures in the Chinese language. So this provides independent confirmation from outside The Bible that the events in Genesis happened, and were taken in the memory of the people living at the time of Babel and subsequently fled to live in China.

I am very serious. Most of my certainty does not simply come from the bible.
The bible simply parallels most of what I found .
Once you have 'the key', you are 'inside',and it genuinely is, the most wonderful adventure,from there on.

Good .I do not have time to look at profiles.I am not on facebook or the like,which is for shallow discourse.
I will not be writing any more about what I know here .About David Pawson,who is he?
Goodness me,it's all details. These are necessary at the beginning,but later,
when you 'see'the 'whole',they are only 'interesting '. Like listening to Mozart,you don't take the
notes individually, but you hear the ensemble.

Later you can study the structures etc, but his music is heard in his head /heart, and afterwards
he writes down the notes etc .,so that others can play it .
So it is with with left hand brained uninspired ,'materialistic' so called scientists [atheists].
They have to plod along looking for the details,while greater minds already know the 'whole'.

The earth is a materialistic place, but can be neutral for most things.
One of the main reasons the church [RC] is failing is because most popes have been to down
to earth types [literally]in recent times,and this types are no more inspired than these
'materialistic 'scientists'.
We have all been in existence for a long time,at different levels of existence ,and these POPES
[and other christians] of an underdeveloped state,in denying reincarnation have skewed the
whole christian story, most of the rest being true. How can a church survive ,when most of it's
leaders are not 'in the kingdom' ?
