  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Hi everyone,

My name is Jereth -- I'm a Christian from Australia.

I grew up a YEC but changed my mind at university. Subsequently, I did a whole lot of writing to justify my change of mind and defend my new views. I've now created a website with the material I've written.

I wonder if people might like to have a quick look at the website and tell me what they think?

It seems pretty well thought out.

A few suggestions could be mostly in the layout of the web design from what I've seen. I'm rather partial to using frames to keep the menu and contents stationary while viewing the rest of the material. Another link that you may want to check out for further resources coul be http://www.apologeticspress.org they have been a good resource for some of my own research.
Other than that, I think it's pretty good.
