The man was sent forth from the Garden of Eden to “till” or serve the ground from where he was taken from. He became as a JUDGE supposedly for God to know good and evil. More on that later.

Genesis 3:22-24 KJV
(22) And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever:
(23) Therefore the LORD God sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from whence he was taken.
(24) So he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of
life.

This driving of the man out of the Garden of Eden is God giving man over to a “reprobate” (an unapproved or rejected) mind to do those things which are not “convenient”. The man is sent forth to serve the ground….the carnal mind…the fleshly mind. To be carnally-minded is death. There is no peace in serving the “ground"…the fleshly mind (behaving in envy, strife, hatred of one another, etc.).

They did not like to retain God in their knowledge as men “profess themselves wise” and set aside His commandment to have LOVE for one another in order to keep the teachings and commandments of men (of which MANY use to judge others as “evil doers”…partaking of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil of which they should not be).

They do not receive the LOVE of the truth and be saved as their mortal bodies are perishing from off this earth without the life of Jesus being made manifest in the mortal flesh which would have given them His eternal life in this earth.

The "tilling of the ground" is the serving of the carnal mind...the reprobate mind.

Romans 1:28-32 KJV
(28) And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;

Those who do such things are given over to a reprobate mind to serve the ground…the flesh…being filled with all unrighteousness (as they do not receive the LOVE of the Truth and be saved)…

(29) Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,
(30) Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,
(31) Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful:


….until they die under the judgment of God. They take pleasure in those who also do these unrighteous things. They sit together in the churches of carnally-minded men and approve of the things that they do.

(32) Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.

God placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubim and a flaming sword which turns every way to keep the Way of the tree of life.

Genesis 3:
(24) So he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life.

This “flaming sword” is the sword of the Spirit. The way to the tree of life is to kill (“mortify”) the deeds of the body THROUGH THE SPIRIT (the flaming sword) so that we shall LIVE…the way of the Tree of Life. Jesus is the WAY, the Truth and the life. We follow Him who died for us and is alive now forever more.

If we continue to “till the ground”….live after the flesh, we shall die under the judgment of God…under the law of sin and death.

Romans 8:13-14 KJV
(13) For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.

Those who are led by the Spirit of God (killing the deeds of the body with the flaming sword), they are the sons of God.

(14) For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.

He gives us power to BECOME the sons of God through His Spirit. If we truly believe on His name (authority), then we DO His will (being led by the Spirit) and become the sons of God in this earth.

John 1:11-13 KJV
(11) He came unto his own, and his own received him not.
(12) But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:
(13) Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.


Those who serve the ground…the carnal mind…have no understanding as the Cherubim (the parables) hide this knowledge of God from their fleshly minds. The mysteries of the kingdom of Heaven are not given to those who are minding and serving the flesh in their envy and strife. They are ever learning but are never able to come to the knowledge of the Truth so that they might be saved...so that their mortal flesh should be given His life in this earth. Instead, they perish from off this earth.

Matthew 13:11-14 KJV
(11) He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given.
(12) For whosoever hath, to him shall be given, and he shall have more abundance: but whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken away even that he hath.
(13) Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand.


Those who serve the carnal mind shall hear the Spirit but not understand and see and shall not perceive.

(14) And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Esaias, which saith, By hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and shall not perceive:

Only those who DO His commandments can enter in to understand. The natural man thinks that the things that he hears of the Spirit are foolishness. They are spiritually discerned. Only the spiritual mind (to be spiritually minded is life and peace) can understand the spiritual things while the natural mind cannot understand lest they see with their eyes and hear and understand and should be “converted” and He should heal them. “To be converted” = to turn.

(15) For this people's heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.
(16) But blessed are your eyes, for they see: and your ears, for they hear.


The flaming sword TURNS every way. We must be CONVERTED by killing the evil deeds of the body THROUGH THE SPIRIT (the flaming sword) in order to LIVE in this earth and not perish from here. If we do not kill of the deeds of the body through the Spirit (the sword of the Spirit), then we shall die under His judgment of death.

Genesis 3:24 KJV

There is NOW...NOW...NOW NO CONDEMNATION ….God’s judgment (DEATH)…to those which are in Christ Jesus who walk NOT after the flesh but after the Spirit. They have converted….turned. The flaming sword of the Spirit TURNS (converts) in every way.

They have killed the deeds of the body through the Spirit (the sword of the Spirit that TURNS every way) and are always led by that Spirit. They have used the flaming sword...the power...and have become the sons of God in this earth by they killing of the deeds of the body through His Spirit. He gives us the power to become the sons of God (by the killing of the deeds of the body through the flaming sword of the Spirit) and live His everlasting life in this earth.

Romans 8:1-14 KJV
(1) There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

The Law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the Law of sin and death.

(2) For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.
(3) For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:
(4) That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.


Those who are driven out to “till the ground”…the fleshly mind…do mind the things of the flesh but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. The fleshly mind sets aside the commandment of God to have love for one another in order to keep the doctrines and commandments of men of which they judge and hate each other over in their envy and strife.

(5) For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.

To serve or till the ground is to be carnally-minded. To be carnally-minded is DEATH as they who are minding the flesh are returning to the dust from where they were taken. They are perishing as we speak in the churches of carnally-minded men who set aside His commandment in order to keep the commandments of men.

(6) For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.

The carnal mind is hostility against God for it is not subject to the law of God NEITHER CAN IT BE. Those who are in the flesh CANNOT please God...even their "good works" are rejected.

“Eden” means “delight”…and those who are in the Spirit “delight” in keeping His commandments of righteousness (choosing to do those things that please Him) while the fleshly mind does not and does things which do NOT please God . They are "outside" and tilling the ground...the fleshly mind.

(7) Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.
(8) So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.

(9) But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.
(10) And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.


But if we have the Spirit of Christ, The Spirit that raised up Jesus from the dead shall also make alive our MORTAL BODIES by His Spirit which dwells in us. This gives us His eternal, heavenly life in this earth…one in which we do not perish from this earth but have an everlasting life.

(11) But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.

We are now debtors to Him not to live after the flesh.

(12) Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh
.

Again, if we live after the flesh we shall die but if through the Spirit (the flaming sword) do kill the deeds of the body, we shall live. It is through the sword of the Spirit that we kill the deeds of the body so that we may be converted and live.

(13) For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.
(14) For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.


Those who are serving the ground (the fleshly mind) in the churches of carnally-minded men have NO UNDERSTANDING of the Scriptures as His knowledge is hidden by parables. They listen to man's fleshly wisdom in their churches where there is NO KNOWLEDGE being preached.

1 Corinthians 2:12-16 KJV
(12) Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.
(13) Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.


The natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God for they are foolishness to him NEITHER CAN HE KNOW THEM because they are spiritually discerned. The “cherubim”…the parables…the imaginary figures…are keeping the natural men who are serving the ground out of this understanding.

(14) But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

The spiritually-minded has the mind of Christ. He that is spiritual judges all things. (And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us ...those who are spiritually-minded....having the mind of Christ... to know good and evil). The carnal mind uses the commandments of men to judge others supposedly knowing what and who is good and evil.

(15) But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man.
(16) For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.


They listen to the “serpent”….the false prophets who come along posing as ministers of righteousness.

They are given over to the false prophet’s unapproved mind (reprobate intellect) who deceives them will all power and signs and lying wonders and with all of the deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that are perishing from off this earth (under the judgment of God upon them) because they receive not the love of the Truth that they might be saved. They set aside His commandment to have love for one another. They turn from the Holy Commandment to have love for one another in order to wallow in the envy and strife of which they once escaped from. They are PERISHING in their mortal bodies from off this earth.

2 Thessalonians 2:9-12 KJV
(9) Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,
(10) And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness
in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.


God sends them a strong delusion that they should believe THE lie…the same lie from the very beginning…so that they ALL might be condemned who believe not the Truth but have pleasure in their unrighteousness. The false prophet falsely prophesies “peace and safety” in his church and those who do not receive the love of the truth are deceived by them. There is no peace there as we find the judgment of God in their midst: the sword, the severe famine of hearing His Word of truth, and death.

(11) And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
(12) That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness
.

They believe THE lie…the same lie from the very beginning.

A breakdown of the lie:

“You shall not surely die” should be literally translated as “killing (or dying), you shall not surely die”. By “killing” another with our tongues (which is speaking evil of another), we shall have peace and safety supposedly. Yet, there is no peace in doing so.

“For God does know….” = we are doing God “service” for killing others supposedly in His name or authority. We are doing these things supposedly in His authority which is not having love for another as commanded by Him.

“…then your eyes shall be opened…” = you shall be seen as wise for doing so.

….you shall be as gods (that is, JUDGES) knowing good and evil” = you shall be as judges (in God’s name or authority). A judge knows who or what is good and evil and those who do such things think that they are actually doing God service in His name (we do these “wonderful works” in your Name).

Genesis 3:4-6 KJV
(4) And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:
(5) For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.


The woman was desirous of her own vain glory: wanting to be seen as wise and so spoke evil of another in judgment of others. It was pleasant to the eyes….she took pleasure in doing unrighteousness. Death and life are in the power (hand) of the tongue which is the weaker vessel to the “hidden man of the heart” and those who love it shall eat the fruit of it whether it be death or life. We are to choose life and not death. The hidden man of the heart is supposed to rule over the tongue.

(6) And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.

This is paraphrased in James 4. Those who speak evil of another are being JUDGES (“you shall be as gods knowing good and evil”) and are not doing the “law” to have love for another.

James 4:11-12 KJV
(11) Speak not evil one of another, brethren. He that speaketh evil of his brother, and judgeth his brother, speaketh evil of the law, and judgeth the law: but if thou judge the law, thou art not a doer of the law, but a judge.

There is only one Lawgiver. God is the only Lawgiver.

Yet, the woman in the garden added her own “law” to God’s commandment (neither shall you touch it): “…and the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden:
But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die”.

There is one Lawgiver (God) who is able to save and destroy. Yet, the woman in the garden used her added law (which she presented it as though God commanded it) to “destroy” another with her own judgment.

(12) There is one lawgiver, who is able to save and to destroy: who art thou that judgest another?

As Jesus pointed out: those who do these things (“killing you” with their false accusations, judgments) think that they are doing God service.

John 16:1-3 KJV
(1) These things have I spoken unto you, that ye should not be offended.
(2) They shall put you out of the synagogues: yea, the time cometh, that whosoever killeth you will think that he doeth God service.
(3) And these things will they do unto you, because they have not known the Father, nor me.


Out of the same mouth proceeds blessing of God and cursing of other men. It can’t be both ways. Either make the tree good and its fruit good or the tree bad. Man certainly does not bless God by cursing other men supposedly in His authority.

James 3:8-18 KJV
(8) But the tongue can no man tame; it is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison.
(9) Therewith bless we God, even the Father; and therewith curse we men, which are made after the similitude of God.
(10) Out of the same mouth proceedeth blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not so to be.
(11) Doth a fountain send forth at the same place sweet water and bitter?
(12) Can the fig tree, my brethren, bear olive berries? either a vine, figs? so can no fountain both yield salt water and fresh.


The woman in the garden desired to be seen as wise and partook of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. She wanted to be seen as wise and spoke evil of another using her added commandment (neither shall you touch it) as a basis for doing so. She believed the lie and practiced it….continuously eating from that “tree”.

Yet, who is the truly wise who is endued with knowledge among us? Let him show it by his good conduct, by deeds done in the humility that comes from wisdom.

The woman envied another and desired to be seen as wise and exalted herself and spoke evil of another (thereby partaking of the tree of knowledge of good and evil) ….bad conduct. The tongue is in the transgression against the commandment of God.

(13) Who is a wise man and endued with knowledge among you? let him shew out of a good conversation his works with meekness of wisdom.
(14) But if ye have bitter envying and strife in your hearts, glory not, and lie not against the truth
.

Men set aside the commandment that we have from the beginning (to have love for one another) in order to keep the teachings and commandments of fleshly-minded men who have wrested them out of the Scriptures to their own destruction as they have NO KNOWLEDGE of them. Yet, they profess themselves as “wise” in the keeping of them.

2 John 1:4-7 KJV
(4) I rejoiced greatly that I found of thy children walking in truth, as we have received a commandment from the Father.
(5) And now I beseech thee, lady, not as though I wrote a new commandment unto thee, but that which we had from the beginning, that we love one another.
(6) And this is love, that we walk after his commandments. This is the commandment, That, as ye have heard from the beginning, ye should walk in it.


MANY, many deceivers are entered into this world who do not confess that Jesus Christ IS COMING (continuous, present tense) in the flesh…in our mortal flesh…as they handle the Word of God deceitfully for unjust gain and remove the keeping of His “daily” sacrifice out of our lives so that His life is never made manifest in those that they are deceiving.

(7) For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist.

Who shall declare His generation…His appearing life in this earth? The appearing life of Jesus in our mortal flesh is being cut off from the land (earth) of the living.

Isaiah 53:8-9 KJV
(8) He was taken from prison and from judgment: and who shall declare his generation? for he was cut off out of the land of the living: for the transgression of my people was he stricken.

The wicked and the rich are preaching for money (deceit is found in their mouths) and preventing His appearing life (doing "violence") in those that they are deceiving for unjust gain.

He made His grave with the wicked and with the rich in His DEATHS…plural in Hebrew…as His appearing life is not being made manifest in those who are being deceived by the false prophets. The wicked and the rich pastors are using “violence” and deceit in their mouths as they take away His appearing life from those who have been led astray by them.

(9) And he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death(s); because he had done no violence, neither was any deceit in his mouth.

The wicked and the rich pastors have lived in pleasure on the earth as they only mind the earthly things: getting paid in order to get their earthly necessities met.

James 5:1-6 KJV
(1) Go to now, ye rich men, weep and howl for your miseries that shall come upon you.
(2) Your riches are corrupted, and your garments are motheaten.
(3) Your gold and silver is cankered; and the rust of them shall be a witness against you, and shall eat your flesh as it were fire. Ye have heaped treasure together for the last days.
(4) Behold, the hire of the labourers who have reaped down your fields, which is of you kept back by fraud, crieth: and the cries of them which have reaped are entered into the ears of the Lord of sabaoth.


They have rejoiced in these things. They have nourished their own hearts yet as in a day of slaughter as the flock that is marked for the slaughter perish. But now their joy will turn to misery as the Lord will spoil the pasture of the rich shepherds who have only been feeding themselves.

(5) Ye have lived in pleasure on the earth, and been wanton; ye have nourished your hearts, as in a day of slaughter.

Deceit has been found in their mouths and their ways are "violence" as they condemn and kill the Just One out of the lives of those that are being led astray by them as His appearing eternal, heavenly life is not being made manifest in this earth.

(6) Ye have condemned and killed the just; and he doth not resist you.

The Just One is being "killed" out of the lives of many (His "deaths") as those who are deceiving us (the "murderers") are doing "violence" when the life of Jesus ...the Prince of Life...is being prevented from appearing in the mortal flesh of those who are following the false prophets in their ignorance of these things.

Acts 3:14-21 KJV

(14) But ye denied the Holy One and the Just, and desired a murderer to be granted unto you;

God has raised Jesus from the dead. Jesus WAS DEAD but behold, He IS ALIVE NOW and forevermore. If He is truly RISEN and IS ALIVE NOW, then we are to have His appearing eternal life NOW is this earth if we believe. We must believe this so that His life should be made manifest in our mortal flesh in this earth.

(15) And killed the Prince of life, whom God hath raised from the dead; whereof we are witnesses.
(16) And his name through faith in his name hath made this man strong, whom ye see and know: yea, the faith which is by him hath given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all.
(17) And now, brethren, I wot that through ignorance ye did it, as did also your rulers.
(18) But those things, which God before had shewed by the mouth of all his prophets, that Christ should suffer, he hath so fulfilled.
(19) Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord;
(20) And he shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you:
(21) Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began
.

In vain do they worship Him as they lay aside His commandment to have love for one another in order to keep the commandments of men and fight and judge each other using them. They perish with the using of the teachings and commandments of men that are not profiting us as all perish from off this earth as our mortal bodies die. Men have no understanding. Yet, they see themselves as “wise” in the keeping of them.

Mark 7:6-9 KJV
(6) He answered and said unto them, Well hath Esaias prophesied of you hypocrites, as it is written, This people honoureth me with their lips, but their heart is far from me.
(7) Howbeit in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.
(8) For laying aside the commandment of God, ye hold the tradition of men
, as the washing of pots and cups: and many other such like things ye do.
(9) And he said unto them, Full well ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may keep your own tradition.


Men see themselves as “wise” in the keeping of the teachings and commandments of men that are not saving the mortal flesh of any who do so. It seems right to go to a particular church and listen to the pastor and keep the teachings and commandments of men but the end of their things are the ways of death for NO FLESH is being saved in any church of carnally-thinking men.

Proverbs 14:12 KJV
(12) There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.

The earth BECAME (Hebrew “hayah” = come to pass, become, to exist) without form and void….that is, the earth BECAME without righteousness (without form) and void of understanding as men profess themselves to be wise only to have their foolish hearts darkened (darkness was upon the face of the deep).

But thankfully God in His compassion and mercy gives us His understanding…to open up our minds to the Scriptures… and we are to become children of the Light (and there was Light) while we have the Light shining within us.

Genesis 1:1-3 KJV
(1) In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
(2) And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.
(3) And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.


In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth and the invisible things of Him from the creation of the world are clearly seen being understood by the things that are made so that man is without excuse.

Romans 1:19-22 KJV
(19) Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.
(20) For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:


The earth BECAME without form (without righteousness) and void of His knowledge as men became vain in their imaginations and their foolish heart was darkened.

(21) Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.
(22) Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,


Again, this is echoed in Jeremiah. His people are foolish…they have not known Him…and they have NO UNDERSTANDNG. Yet, they are “wise” to do evil but to do good they have NO KNOWLEDGE.

Jeremiah 4:22-23 KJV
(22) For my people is foolish, they have not known me; they are sottish children, and they have none understanding: they are wise to do evil, but to do good they have no knowledge.

The earth was without form and the heavens had no light = no righteousness and no understanding.

(23) I beheld the earth, and, lo, it was without form, and void; and the heavens, and they had no light.

There is none righteous….no, not one. The earth became without form…having no righteousness.

Romans 3:9-12 KJV
(9) What then? are we better than they? No, in no wise: for we have before proved both Jews and Gentiles, that they are all under sin;
(10) As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:


There is none that understand. The earth is void of God’s understanding.

(11) There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God.

All have gone out of the Way of righteousness. We have all together BECOME unprofitable. The earth BECAME without form and void.

(12) They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.

Professing themselves to be wise, they BECAME fools. Their foolish heart was darkened as they have no understanding.

Romans 1:22-25 KJV
(22) Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,

In their so-called “wisdom”, men change the truth of God into THE lie….the same lie from the very beginning.

They worship and serve the “creature” …the ordinance of man…more than the Creator.

When we set aside His commandment to have love for one another in order to keep the ordinances of men, our worship of Him is in vain . The keeping of the teachings and commandments of men do not profit us as NO FLESH is being saved in the keeping of them. We are under His judgment.

(25) Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.

Men change the glory of God for the image made like corruptible man….that is, MONEY which has the image of man upon it.

The “moneychangers” are exchanging the glory of God that is due Him from this world for money’s sake. His house should be called a “house of prayer” but all of the outside world sees is a “den of robbers” as men preach for money’s sake and they speak evil of the Way of righteousness. They blaspheme His Holy Name when they should be glorifying God through us rather than blaspheme because of us.

Romans 1:22-25 KJV
(22) Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,

If we sit together with those who are preaching for money’s sake, we are perishing along with them.

We must NOT commit “fornication” with them by sitting together with them in their idolatry. We become ONE FLESH with those who are perishing in their idolatry (covetousness = idolatry) as they preach for money that has the image of corruptible man upon it. Because men profess themselves as “wise” in their foolishness, God gave them up to uncleanness through the lust of their own hearts to dishonor their own mortal bodies between themselves. Many see themselves as “wise” to go to “church” and participate with the false prophets. They sit together in their churches being united in their lusts.

(24) Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:

We MUST FLEE the “fornication”…the sitting together with them in their churches where NO FLESH is being saved. We must no longer live according to the lusts of the false prophet who only preaches for money’s sake in his hidden covetousness. The false prophet hides the abominations in his heart with the flattering lips. Covetousness = idolatry and no idolater has eternal life.

No fornicator has eternal life. We must not sit with them as those who do (committing “fornication”) and are sinning against their own mortal bodies as His life is never made manifest in them. We become ONE FLESH with those who are preaching for pay...the idolatry...as we perish along with them.

1 Corinthians 6:15-20 KJV
(15) Know ye not that your bodies are the members of Christ? shall I then take the members of Christ, and make them the members of an harlot? God forbid.
(16) What? know ye not that he which is joined to an harlot is one body? for two, saith he, shall be one flesh.
(17) But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit.
(18) Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body.
(19) What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?
(20) For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.


The “moneychangers” are exchanging the glory that is due God from all nations (My house SHALL be call of ALL NATIONS the “house of prayer”). Instead, we see preachers preaching for pay and the outside world sees this and blasphemes His holy name. What the outside world sees is a “den of thieves” and speaks evil of the Way of righteousness.

They sell “doves”… “peace, peace” …where there is none. They make merchandise of the sheep….the four-footed beasts…that they are deceiving. They are minding earthly things. The "serpent" ...the creeping things...crawl upon the "belly" as they serve their own belly and not our Lord Jesus.

The outside world sees the fleecing of the sheep and blasphemes. His glory that is due Him is being exchanged for these things that the false prophets lust after.

Mark 11:15-17 KJV
(15) And they come to Jerusalem: and Jesus went into the temple, and began to cast out them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the moneychangers, and the seats of them that sold doves;
(16) And would not suffer that any man should carry any vessel through the temple.
(17) And he taught, saying unto them, Is it not written, My house shall be called of all nations the house of prayer? but ye have made it a den of thieves.


Our mortal body is not for “fornication”. We must not sit together with the “thieves” as they are not inheriting the kingdom of God which is eternal. They are not eternal as they perishing in their mortal flesh from off this earth and have no understanding of why. They have no understanding that they are perishing under the judgment of God.

Be NOT DECEIVED…they are not inheriting the kingdom of God that is eternal as they are PERISHING from off this earth without having His eternal life being made manifest in their mortal flesh.

The “fornicators”…those sitting together with the “idolaters” (men preaching for money in their covetousness) are not having His life made manifest in their mortal flesh as they perish from off this earth. This is plainly obvious.

The wrath of God comes upon the children of disobedience in all of the churches of carnally-minded men who set aside the commandment of God in their own "wisdom" in order to keep the teachings and commandments of me.

The wrath of God IS REVEALED from heaven upon those who are holding down the Truth in their unrighteousness. They are the flock marked for the slaughter as many are being deceived by the false prophets who come preaching “peace” where there is none as they are perishing away to the grave in their sins under the wrath of God. It has been a generation of wrath.

1 Corinthians 6:9-10 KJV
(9) Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind,

These verses creates a significant problem for your interpretation. Note the Hebrew phrase "to work" is identical in all of these verses:

‎ וכל שׂיח השׂדה טרם יהיה בארץ וכל־עשׂב השׂדה טרם יצמח כי לא המטיר יהוה אלהים על־הארץ ואדם אין לעבד את־האדמה
(Gen. 2:5 BHS)

God used the same word to describe Adam's task before and after the fall. After the fall the task was much more difficult because sin had made the ground less fruitful, and weeding the ground became necessary, but the call to work the ground had not changed.

The beginning of Genesis is really an interesting study isn’t it?

I do not pretend to know everything about it but I’m doing an “exercise” in here so to speak: openly meditating upon the Scriptures so that “profiting”…progress…may appear in the understanding them. I’m learning many things as I go as we have one Teacher above. Hopefully others may progress as well in reading and understanding His Word.

1 Timothy 4:13-16 KJV
(13) Till I come, give attendance to reading, to exhortation, to doctrine.
(14) Neglect not the gift that is in thee, which was given thee by prophecy, with the laying on of the hands of the presbytery.
(15) Meditate upon these things; give thyself wholly to them; that thy profiting may appear to all.
(16) Take heed unto thyself, and unto the doctrine; continue in them: for in doing this thou shalt both save thyself, and them that hear thee.




Some thoughts to ponder:

We reap what we sow.

If we sow after our flesh, then of the flesh we reap “corruption”…that is, decay. Our mortal flesh shall reap problems if we live (working continuously) after the flesh. But if we sow to the Spirit, we shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting. The same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead shall also give our mortal bodies life in this earth. It depends on what we “work” or sow at. The wages of sin is death. Let us not be weary in well DOING for in due season we shall reap everlasting life.

Galatians 6:7-9 KJV
(7) Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.
(8) For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.
(9) And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint
not

The “works”….the toil… of the flesh are made manifest:

Galatians 5:18-26 KJV
(18) But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law.
(19) Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,
(20) Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,


Those who “do” (in Greek: “practice” habitually) such things do not inherit the kingdom of God which is eternal. They perish in their flesh from off this earth as they “work” these things. Our mortal flesh gives us problems as we “age”. The “evil days” come where we find no pleasure in them (Ecclesiastes 12:1).

(21) Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

Instead, we are to continually eat of the fruit of the Spirit which is love, joy, peace , etc. Do these things and we shall live as there is no law against such things. There is no law against them but we are commanded to do them: “And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat”.

(22) But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
(23) Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

(24) And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.
(25) If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.


Yet, wanting to be seen as “wise” (desirous of vain glory), many provoke one another in their envy of one another. They are working the works of the flesh and are perishing as they fight with each other over the teachings and commandments of men.

They set aside the commandment of God to have love for one another in order to keep the teachings and commandments of men using them to fight and hate one another. They strive with each other who is accounted the “greatest among them”….as the disciples of the Lord did once.

(26) Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another.

Again, it depends on what we “work” at as God shall render to every man according to what his deeds are.

Romans 2:3-9 KJV
(3) And thinkest thou this, O man, that judgest them which do such things, and doest the same, that thou shalt escape the judgment of God?
(4) Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance?
(5) But after thy hardness and impenitent heart treasurest up unto thyself wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God;
(6) Who will render to every man according to his deeds:


If we do well, eternal life.

(7) To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life:

If we do evil, tribulation and anguish. If we sow after the flesh, the ground shall give us sorrow.

(8) But unto them that are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath,
(9) Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that doeth evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile;


We are instructed to sow to ourselves in righteousness and reap in mercy. We are to break up our fallow ground (the works of the flesh where there is no righteousness) for it is time to seek the LORD till He comes and rains righteousness upon us. We are to “work the ground” in this case for righteousness and not for wickedness by breaking up the works of the flesh ….the ground. .

Hosea 10:12-13 KJV
(12) Sow to yourselves in righteousness, reap in mercy; break up your fallow ground: for it is time to seek the LORD, till he come and rain righteousness upon you.

But by plowing in wickedness, we reap iniquity…evil. We eat the fruit of lies (literally in Hebrew: “failure of flesh”). If we sow according to the flesh, we reap decay of our mortal flesh. We cannot trust in our own “works of righteousness” and our church leaders.

(13) Ye have plowed wickedness, ye have reaped iniquity; ye have eaten the fruit of lies: because thou didst trust in thy way, in the multitude of thy mighty men.

Getting back to the beginning of Genesis (which are written in parables)….we see that before there was NO righteousness ( before there was every plant of the field) and NO peace (before there was every herb of the field) among men upon the early earth, there was not a man to work the “ground” (Hebrew: Adamah which means “red ground”). In this case, to break up the works of the flesh as there was no understanding when there is no teacher to enlighten earthy-minded men with the Holy Spirit.

Genesis 2:4-6 KJV
(4) These are the generations of the heavens and of the earth when they were created, in the day that the LORD God made the earth and the heavens,
(5) And every plant of the field before it was in the earth, and every herb of the field before it grew: for the LORD God had not caused it to rain upon the earth, and there was not a man to till the ground.


There went up a “mist” (FOG) from the earth and watered the whole face of the ground (Adamah).

The “fog” represents no understanding among men of the earth. There was no understanding among men as God had not caused it to “rain upon the earth”…that is, the “rain” of the teaching of men of God’s righteousness. As we know, in the “fog” we cannot see much.

But when we hear the Word of God spoken in sincerity and truth, it “rains” upon the earth. Yet, in the beginning there was no man to preach His Word with the Spirit of God within them.

This is where the first Son of God, Adam, comes in. He was supposed to be a preacher of the Word of God to the earth where there was only “fog” of the minds of mankind and no righteousness and no peace. By preaching, man could then live according to the righteousness of God in peace.

(6) But there went up a mist from the earth, and watered the whole face of the ground.

Applying the beginning to today: the “rain” is the good Word of God that we hear and the “earth” drinks in the rain that comes often upon it. We hear His Word through the Spirit (made partakers of the Holy Spirit) as we “drink” in what we hear in our hearts (the dry “earth”). We were once living according to the world and its lusts and were perishing with it.

Hebrews 6:4-10 KJV
(4) For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost,
(5) And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come,
(6) If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame.


We are to hear His Word spoken in the Spirit and “drink” in that “rain” (His teaching) and bring forth herbs (peace and His righteousness) towards what we hear. The early earth in the beginning had no “rain” yet as there was no man yet to teach His Word with the Spirit in the beginning so that men could bring forth the fruits of His righteousness towards what they heard.

We are to “dress” it…to till it….as the continual bringing forth of His righteousness causes us to receive the blessing (eternal life) from God.

(7) For the earth which drinketh in the rain that cometh oft upon it, and bringeth forth herbs meet for them by whom it is dressed, receiveth blessing from God:

But if we sow after the flesh at the hearing of His words (bearing “thorns and briers”), we are in danger of being rejected and near unto cursing. Those who bring forth bad things towards what they hear are close to being rejected .

(8) But that which beareth thorns and briers is rejected, and is nigh unto cursing; whose end is to be burned.
(9) But, beloved, we are persuaded better things of you, and things that accompany salvation, though we thus speak.
(10) For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister.


If we work the works of the flesh (the red ground), it will bring forth “thorns and thistles”. If we bring forth bad things, we are then near unto cursing whose end is to be “burned” under the wrath of God who is a consuming fire.

To be carnally (fleshly)-minded is death an there is no righteousness and no peace (as the “herb of the field” is devoured). There is no peace but only sorrow awaiting those who continue to sow after the flesh as they speak evil of others in their envy and strife and hatred of one another according to the lusts of this world. Those who do such things bring forth "thorns and thistles".

Genesis 3:17-19 KJV
(17) And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life;
(18) Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee; and thou shalt eat the herb of the field;

(19) In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return.


In the beginning, there was not a man to preach His Word to fleshly men who were living in a “fog” .

Yet, God formed the first man (Adam…the Son of God) out of the dust of the ground (Adamah). He breath into his “nostrils” (which can infer man’s wrath) the breath of life (plural “lives”). The wrath of man does not work the righteousness of God. But God breathed into man’s wrath the PEACE of God and he received the Holy Spirit. Adam received the peace of God and His Holy Spirit by which he could teach mankind that had no knowledge of these things.

Genesis 2:7 KJV
(7) And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.


“Peace be unto you”… Jesus “breathed on them” peace so that His disciples may receive the Holy Spirit. The last Adam is a life-giving Spirit as Jesus breathes the Spirit in us...giving us the Spirit of God. We are to hear Him and peacefully and breathe it in.

John 20:21-22 KJV
(21) Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you.
(22) And when he had said this, he breathed on them, and saith unto them, Receive ye the Holy Ghost:


The earthly wisdom is full of envy and strife, confusion and every evil work. The whole world lies in this. But the wisdom that is from above is first pure and then PEACEABLE….

James 3:15-18 KJV
(15) This wisdom descendeth not from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish.
(16) For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work.
(17) But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.
(18) And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace.


The “breath of lives” is the Holy Spirit through which Adam was to preach His righteousness through the early world that had no understanding. It was to give life to those who would hear the Spirit of God and believe and do His righteousness.

Genesis 2:7 KJV

But instead of life, death came through that one man Adam unto all.

1 Corinthians 15:21-22 KJV
(21) For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead.

He formed Adam out of the dust of the “ground”.

Applying this to today: He takes us in His grace from living according to the “course of this world” when we had our conversation in times past living in the lusts of the flesh (the red ground) fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind and were by NATURE the children of WRATH even as others (as the rest of mankind). He breaths into the nostrils (the wrath) of man His peace as He makes us alive in the Spirit together with Christ (the last Adam).

Ephesians 2:1-5 KJV
(1) And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins;
(2) Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:
(3) Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.

(4) But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us,
(5) Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved


We were once living according to the lusts of the flesh (the ground of mankind) as we were sometimes foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving many lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another. We reaped what we sowed: decay and death. The fruit of those things is death to the mortal body for the wages of sin is death.

Titus 3:1-7 KJV
(1) Put them in mind to be subject to principalities and powers, to obey magistrates, to be ready to every good work,
(2) To speak evil of no man, to be no brawlers, but gentle, shewing all meekness unto all men.
(3) For we ourselves also were sometimes foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving divers lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another.
(4) But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared,


but by His kindness and mercy, He takes us from the ground of mankind who lives (always) sowing to the flesh and regenerates us in the renewing of the Holy Spirit ( the breath of life).

(5) Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;
(6) Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour;

(7) That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.


Again, we were once living according to how mankind in general lives in the envy and strife and hatred of one another but He in His grace takes us from the “ground” of mankind and washes us from its dirt by the Spirit of our God being justified in the name of the Lord Jesus.

Adamah = the red ground. Adam = “red” only. He washes us in the blood (red) of Jesus from the “ground”..from the works of the flesh and its lusts. We are taken out of the “Adamah”…the red ground being washed from the works of the flesh (the ground).

Mankind needs to hear the Word of Truth as they are in ignorance. There is a "fog" in the minds of mankind.

(22) Then Paul stood in the midst of Mars' hill, and said, Ye men of Athens, I perceive that in all things ye are too superstitious.
(23) For as I passed by, and beheld your devotions, I found an altar with this inscription, TO THE UNKNOWN GOD. Whom therefore ye ignorantly worship, him declare I unto you.
(24) God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands;
(25) Neither is worshipped with men's hands, as though he needed any thing, seeing he giveth to all life, and breath, and all things;


He has made of one blood all nations of men to dwell on the face of the earth (the blood of the ground…the Adamah). They dwell on the face of the earth as they are minding earthly things and not heavenly things. They are continually sowing after the flesh in their ignorance of the things of God. But there are times appointed for man to seek after the Lord and find Him. Someone comes along with the Holy Spirit to declare the living God to men of the ground who are continually sowing after the flesh.

(26) And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation;
(27) That they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after him, and find him, though he be not far from every one of us:
(28) For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring.

Some ppl use such verses to try to prove the medicinal benefits of marijuana. I think the effect of the fall on Creation also needs to be taken into account before rushing into such a conclusion.
