Continuing the parable of the REGENERATION of man by the Holy Spirit sent from heaven to speak to our hearing ears so that we may know Him who is true and enter into His rest. The things that the Spirit says will divide the believers from the unbelievers especially in the churches of men.
The invisible things of Him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that men are without excuse…..
Genesis 1:1-5 KJV
(1) In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
…yet, the earth BECAME without form and void and darkness was upon the face of the deep as men but BECAME vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. Darkness was upon the face of the deep as men have no understanding. Professing themselves to be wise, they BECAME fools.
The earth BECAME without form and void as men became foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving many different lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another.
But AFTER THAT, the kindness and love of God our Savior toward man appears (let there be Light), not by so-called “works of righteousness” which we have done, but according to His own mercy He saves us, by the washing of REGENERATION, and renewing of the Holy Spirit which He sheds on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Savior.
The Spirit of God moves upon the face of the waters as men speak as they are moved by the Spirit.
(2) And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.
We have a more sure word of prophecy within our very hearts and we do well to take heed on how we hear, as unto a light that shines in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.
For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God speak (present tense) as they are moved by the Holy Spirit.
We receive the witness of men who speak as they are led by the Spirit but the witness of God within our very own hearts (that Light that was commanded to shine in our darkened hearts) is greater and we are to take heed to it and respond to the light with light…becoming children of light. When we respond to the Light with the light....then "there was light".
(3) And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.
God divided the light from the darkness.
We must separate from those who continue to live in darkness as they will misbehave towards the hearing of the Spirit in this coming time of REGENERATION. Be not partakers with them for you were sometimes darkness, but now are you light in the Lord: walk as children of light. We are to become children of the light when we have the light.
We must not be unequally yoked together with them in their churches. Be not unequally yoked together with the unbelievers: for what fellowship has righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion has light with darkness? What part does he that believes what the Spirit is saying have with an unbeliever?
(4) And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.
(5) And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.
We are to take heed on how we hear. If any man has ears to hear, let him hear….let there be an “expanse” to our hearing.
Luke 8:18 KJV
(18) Take heed therefore how ye hear: for whosoever hath, to him shall be given; and whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken even that which he seemeth to have.
If we take heed what we hear, more shall be given. The hearing universe expands as more is given. The natural universe is expanding…and so is our hearing ears to be expanded to the hearing of His words as spoken in the Spirit.
Mark 4:23-25 KJV
(23) If any man have ears to hear, let him hear.
(24) And he said unto them, Take heed what ye hear: with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you: and unto you that hear shall more be given.
(25) For he that hath, to him shall be given: and he that hath not, from him shall be taken even that which he hath.
If any man have ears to hear, let him hear. The hearing believers are divided from the unbelievers who do not believe in what they hear.
Genesis 1:6-8 KJV
(6) And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters.
Be not unequally yoked together with the unbelievers: for what fellowship has righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion has light with darkness? What part does he that believes what the Spirit is saying have with an unbeliever?
(7) And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so.
(8) And God called the firmament Heaven. And the evening and the morning were the second day.
We must not be partakers with the “seas” of men who will gather themselves together against what they hear the Spirit saying.
The “dry land” that appears is the good and honest heart that hears the Word of God and keeps it…bringing forth peace and the fruits of righteousness towards Him that speaks and those whom He sends to speak.
Genesis 1:9-13 KJV
(9) And God said, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry land appear: and it was so.
The “dry land” is the meek heart of a man that hears what the Spirit is saying and the waters of envy and strife have abated from it.
Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the EARTH.
The “dry land” is called EARTH for we that are of a meek heart towards the hearing of the Word of God as spoken through the Spirit shall inherit this earth as we shall continue to live here until the earth becomes the home of righteousness completely. Blessed are the meek (the dry ground that appears) for they shall inherit the EARTH (And God called the dry land Earth)..
(10) And God called the dry land Earth; and the gathering together of the waters called he Seas: and God saw that it was good.
The meek shall hear what the Spirit is saying….the good Word of God…and will (with a good and honest heart) keep it and bring forth fruits of righteousness with patience.
The “earth” brings forth “grass”…that is, PEACE. The herb yielding seed….faith. The fruit tree yielding fruit after His kind whose seed is in itself.
(11) And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so.
(12) And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind: and God saw that it was good.
(13) And the evening and the morning were the third day.
The GOOD heart or ground (for God saw that it was good) HEARS the Word and KEEPS IT and brings forth FRUIT with patience. Only a meek heart shall hear and keep what they hear and bring forth fruits of righteousness towards what they hear.
Luke 8:15 KJV
(15) But that on the good ground are they, which in an honest and good heart, having heard the word, keep it, and bring forth fruit with patience.
Of what “waters” (above or below) should we be of? What wisdom shall we use towards the hearing of the Spirit in the regeneration of man. A fountain cannot yield both salt water and fresh. A fountain cannot send forth from the same place both sweet water and bitter.
James 3:11-18 KJV
(11) Doth a fountain send forth at the same place sweet water and bitter?
(12) Can the fig tree, my brethren, bear olive berries? either a vine, figs? so can no fountain both yield salt water and fresh.
The “waters” (the wisdom) from above is first pure then PEACEABLE, gentle and easy to be entreated, full of mercy and full of good fruits without partiality and without hypocrisy. Those who are truly from “above” shall bring forth good things out of their mouths which comes from a good and honest heart....with MEEKNESS of wisdom.
(13) Who is a wise man and endued with knowledge among you? let him shew out of a good conversation his works with meekness of wisdom.
(14) But if ye have bitter envying and strife in your hearts, glory not, and lie not against the truth.
(15) This wisdom descendeth not from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish.
The “seas” of men shall rage against what they hear.
(16) For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work.
(17) But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.
The fruit of righteousness is sown in PEACE of them that make PEACE as the “earth” brings forth GRASS . The earth brings forth "grass"...that is, peace...first.
(18) And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace.
We are to hear what the Spirit is saying (being partakers of the Holy Spirit) and witness the light of God within our very hearts (being enlightened) and taste with our ears the good Word of God and the powers of the age to come and not fall away by crucifying what we hear.
Some will trodden down what they hear and speak evil openly against the hearing of the Spirit in the regeneration of man.
Hebrews 6:4-12 KJV
(4) For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost,
(5) And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come,
(6) If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame.
The “earth” drinks in the “rain”…hearing that good Word of God (and God said...) as spoken in the Spirit (being made partakers of the Holy Spirit)…and brings forth herbs meet for them by whom it is dressed. That is, they bring forth good fruit…fruits of righteousness.
(7) For the earth which drinketh in the rain that cometh oft upon it, and bringeth forth herbs meet for them by whom it is dressed, receiveth blessing from God:
But the unbelievers will hear and bring forth thorns and briers against what they hear the Spirit saying.
They are near to cursing as they are warned to turn away from their wickedness and be found of Him "watching"...even in the second or third watch of the night. They are warned 3 times against their wickedness and remember to let brotherly love continue or be rejected.
(8) But that which beareth thorns and briers is rejected, and is nigh unto cursing; whose end is to be burned.
(9) But, beloved, we are persuaded better things of you, and things that accompany salvation, though we thus speak.
We are to hear and DO the work…have love for one another as commanded by Him. We are to remember His authority and DO His commandments. We are to remember to let brotherly love continue towards those “strangers” who come speaking what they hear the Spirit saying in the regeneration of man. Through faith and PATIENCE we will inherit the promises.
(10) For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister.
(11) And we desire that every one of you do shew the same diligence to the full assurance of hope unto the end:
We are not to be slothful but be patient and continue in His righteousness through faith.
(12) That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises.
We must not be found “unbraiding” the wisdom of God and it shall be given to us. Those who take heed on how they hear (as they will be swift to hear and slow to speak and slow to wrath) will be given more.
James 1:3-8 KJV
(3) Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience.
(4) But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.
(5) If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.
Those who “waver” in their faith towards what they hear are like the wave of the “SEA” driven with the wind and tossed. There will be no peace towards those who will rage against what they hear the Spirit speaking. They shall not receive anything of the Lord. They are "tossed"...rejected...and will have no peace.
(6) But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.
(7) For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord.
(8) A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.
The earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind: and God saw that it was good.
The “tree” yielding fruit. We must ABIDE in Christ so that we may truly bring forth good fruit.
John 15:1-12 KJV
(1) I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman.
Every branch in Him that does not bear the fruit of righteousness does the Father take away and every branch that bears fruit does He purge so that it may bring forth more fruit.
(2) Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit.
We are to hear the pure Word which He speaks to us in the Spirit and be found abiding in Him
(3) Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you.
(4) Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.
We abide in Him by keeping His commandment to have love for one another as He loved us. ONLY if we abide in Him shall we bring forth much fruit…fruits of righteousness. Without Him we can do nothing.
(5) I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.
But that which beareth thorns and briers is rejected, and is nigh unto cursing; whose end is to be burned.
(6) If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.
(7) If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.
The earth which drinketh in the rain that cometh oft upon it, and bringeth forth herbs meet for them by whom it is dressed, receiveth blessing from God. We are His "disciples"...that is, learners...as we enter into His greater knowledge.
(8) Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.
(9) As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love.
(10) If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love.
His joy shall remain in us if we keep His commandments when we hear His Word as spoken in the Spirit.
Our joy shall become full as His life shall appear in our mortal flesh giving us His eternal life in this earth. The meek shall inherit this earth while those who will hear and reject what they hear in their unbelief shall perish from off this earth in the fire of wrath as their evil speaking shall not cease until they die off from this earth as punishment. There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth....no peace as their mouths shall rage against what they hear.
(11) These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full.
(12) This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.
We have our fruit unto holiness and the end of those things is everlasting life through Jesus Christ our Lord……in the here and now. The seed…the gift… is within itself as we ABIDE in Him.
Romans 6:20-23 KJV
(20) For when ye were the servants of sin, ye were free from righteousness.
(21) What fruit had ye then in those things whereof ye are now ashamed? for the end of those things is death.
(22) But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life.
(23) For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
We must bear fruit with patience as the unbelievers in their churches shall persecute us and try our faith in Him when we hear the Spirit in the regeneration of man.
1 Peter 4:12-14 KJV
(12) Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you:
We are to show love towards those who will persecute us thereby being made partakers of Christ’s sufferings.
When His glory shall be revealed, we shall also be glad with EXCEEDING JOY. Our joy shall be made full when the life of Jesus is made apparent in our mortal flesh as His eternal life appears. He WAS DEAD and is alive now forever more and we are to be made alive in Him in this earth so that we may display His glory to this dark and dying world. He has already died for us and is living for us today.
(13) But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.
(14) If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye; for the spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you: on their part he is evil spoken of, but on your part he is glorified.
