A defenite must play, that is, if gore and swearing (not gratutious) don't offend you greatly. And, for all those who say things like 'does it compare to halo?', it doesn't compare to halo, because they are totally different games, seriously. Its like comparing Rainbow Six to Unreal, both FPS, but totally different...(you should know what i mean)

Yeah I wish I could play it, but I'm not shelling out 60 bucks for a 4 vs 4 online game.

You can do 8 player co op online, but I don't get much out of that style.

trust me, even with as little as a 4 man team, the fire fights are hectic, and a deep level of strategy is involved. In fact, there is no 'deathmatch', CTF, or any other common gametypes.

it truly is a different kind of multiplayer. The only thing i can say is really not that great is that most of the maps are symetrical, so they more or less encourage a head on fire fight.

Halo compared to Gears of War is like comparing a racing game to a puzzle game.
Its a great game, look at Call of Duty 2 online, 4v4 went fine. The maps aren't too huge so the fire fights are quick and furious.

No running around jumping all over, that'll get you killed in a fraction of a second.

Gears is great.

warzone is my personal fav, i hate execution. i hate snipers, but i hate snipers in all games...the main reason is that i suck....and the snipers in GoW are unusually good....u need to be under cover at all times when there is a sniper. i'm not that good, i normally rush and get myself killed quickly, but i love the game. my fav map is probly the one in the underground train station w/ the turret in the middle and all the bags. i think its war machine.

whats all your xbox live names? send me a friend invite mine is upchuckcanuck....i play w/ deadlyvortex alot, mostly because it's his box and my live account is on his since i've only got a regular xbox and its fried....i play at least twice a week and mostly at night.....alot of times my other friend'll use my account.

Very awesome game. I have beaten it on all 3 difficulties now, and have managed to find almost 2/3 of the cog tags (I like the shooting, not the looking around). Live is very fun, though the matching system isn't that great.

Nah, not luck, the game is short for everyone. However, it's so fun, it's hard not to play through it again and again on each difficulty - especially with the co-op available.
