CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I am not a judge so cannot judge those in a gay marriage however it is in the bible that marriage is to be between 1 man and 1 woman. But looking at the pole on how we feel about these marriages there are a few who may not have read the bible and may not be christians as the pole is quite equal where 50% agree on gay marriages and it is open to anyone. But PRAISE GOD as a christian, if I am troubled by this I would take it to the LORD in prayer.

as you know only 1 man has the right 2 judge evrything... this is a matter of oppinion and in the end its up to the partys involved whether they r strong enough to do whats right for them and for their faith, depending on their religion. i kno a gay couple.. the only thing i judge them on is how happy they r.

I sorta think it's okay. The thought really freaks me out, but if the person is happy then I say okay. But if you really think about it, how is gay marriage going to hurt anyone? If someone really loves someone why should it be wrong? The people who are gay will be happy. Doesn't everybody here want people to be happy? I mean it's like a woman who is in love with a man and vice versa but they can never be together. Sorta like Romeo and Juliet. They were forbidden to be together because of there names.janelle123 said:

Sorry.... Sorry to all. I'm a bit tired I'm up quite late: 4:12 AM. That is late for a 13 year old isn't it? Actally usally I'm up until 5:30. Not exactly good for me but what can I say???
