I think teachers and students need to focus on English and math.
I wish they'd have courses in critical thinking so people would learn to discern news reporting from actual news outlets and propaganda from political outlets.

An unpopular group is mad that they’re unpopular?
It’s high school all over again
What would you say if the public school system had children make out cards like that to a pro-LGBTQ group?

I could teach that subject.

Wholesome?
What is the “Liberty” that they fight for?
Isn’t it “the Liberty” to continue to hate the people we were used to alllowed to hate becuase we’ve always done so, so why CHANGE THAT?
It's not "hate" when parents want their children to have traditional Christian values. It is NOT "hate" when parents don't want schools shoving the LGBTQ agenda down the throats of their children.

It's not "hate" when parents want their children to have traditional Christian values.
Then they should send their kids to a christian school, if that's what they want. Public schools aren't in the business of upholding "traditional christian values", that isn't their job.

It is NOT "hate" when parents don't want schools shoving the LGBTQ agenda down the throats of their children.
What, exactly, do you think the "LGBTQ agenda" is?

And please, be as specific as you can.

-- A2SG, vagueness doesn't help us understand what your actual concerns are.....

See what I mean about vagueness?

Could we try and get some specifics on this?

The LGBTQ agenda is to be the new normal.
What does that mean, exactly? Are you claiming that someone wants everyone to be LGBTQ?

The best foundation for that is to get as many kids as possible into the "gay is slay" camp.
What, exactly, does that mean?

And on what are you basing your conclusions?

Please, this time...try to be specific.

If you want to claim there's an agenda, and have your claim be taken seriously, it would help to provide the specifics of that agenda, as provided by those advocating for that agenda. Otherwise, it's just a guess, based on nothing but your own bias.

It'd be exactly as if I made up stuff about your religion, and claimed that to be your agenda.

-- A2SG, not that I'd ever do that, ya unnerstand.....

Moms for Liberty is not a fringe radical group.
It totally is.

In 2023, the Southern Poverty Law Center, a civil rights organization that tracks extremists, termed Moms for Liberty a far-right extremist organization. The group has been criticized for harassment, for deepening divisions among parents, for making students' education more difficult, and for having close ties to the Republican Party rather than being a genuine grassroots effort.

MFL hardly stands alone in opposing the ever growing LGBTQetc+ curriculum in schools.
Yeah, sadly there are a lot of extremist fringe hate groups as defined by the SPLC out there in America.

What’s “illegal”?
If we're making up things that never happened, might as well make them made up illegal things which never happened. Sells better during the advertising between the commercials on Fox News.

On Saturday, parental rights group Moms for Liberty posted pictures of a package they received in the mail which contained letters that students from a Seattle Middle school allegedly made in class, claiming that the organization was “bullying” LGBTQ youth.
I think teachers and students need to focus on English and math.

Notice that America is moving over to the religion of equality. Anybody who does not fully commit to the religion of equality is in trouble. There is no going back. Once you buy into the equality logic then it's over.

The religion of equality is where most atheists like to hang out.

This looks a lot like Daniel 7:4-5. The first beast (looks like America) is made to stand on two feet and thus destabilized. Then it is given the mind of man (religion of equality). Presumably, it had the mind of God (Christianity) before.

What comes next?

Daniel 7:5: Russia, rise up and devour much flesh.

Currently, Russia is threatening nuclear war against America. It just needs a good excuse.

In this case the source is irrelevant in regard to what transpired.

The source alleges something transpired without evidence.

The headline of the source says the children were "forced". The article provides no evidence or reason to believe that.

My spouse teaches a lesson where the students compose formal letters to their congresscritter, asking them to take action on some issue of interest to the individual student.

In a situation similar to that, where the teacher/school is not setting the agenda, there would be no problem with what you suggest.

It warms my heart to hear about the next generation’s willingness to be more inclusive and kinder than the ones that came before them.

Good on them for sticking up for their gay and trans classmates against these bullies with nothing better to do than to make a child’s life harder than it ever needs to be.
