Gay Adoption

You are living a life of sin and wanting to bring children into it.

You say that you are going to teach them to accept people for who they are.

Will they accept your sin? Maybe? Maybe not.

Children are much more than putty for a parent to mold, as you so well know.

   Sin is a religious concept, Stormy. Why should adoption, which is a governmental affair, work according to your particular religious beliefs?

   After all, for every Christian who thinks being gay is a "sin", you can point to the liberal groups who not only accept homosexuality, but actively marry gays.

   Sorry, Stormy. Your religious beliefs are utterly immaterial. However, if you wake up one day homosexual, I fully expect you to prevent yourself from adopting children. 

   When it comes to raising children, I would hope that children aren't placed with parents who raise them to hate and fear those who are different, but instead see them as the loving human beings they are.

I don't follow the first 4 commandments. Should I be allowed to adopt a child?
