gas leak

So we had a bit of a gas leak last night, a burner got left on our stove all night long, the flame was out it was on low so it wasn't full open.

What can this do to my baby?

This morning we opened every window in the house, shut off the burner, and left for the day, the smell was gone by the time I got back from my morning route, though as I was eating breakfast(sp?) I passed out/fell asleep until 1:30, I had 30 minutes to get ready for my afternoon route. I really don't want to have to go back to my OB until my appointment on the 23rd. I still get sick everytime I eat and the heartburn has returned.

I guess we just need your prayers.

I doubt very much that it did anything to your baby. The main risk I would guess would be that he/she didn't get enough oxygen, which is possible, but our bodies are generally very good at ensuring baby's needs are met, even at the expense of our own (it will literally leech the calcium from your bones to provide for the baby if you don't get enough calcium from your diet / supplements). So for now I wouldn't worry. Besides, your baby is still really really really small, he/she doesn't need a lot of oxygen! I'm glad you guys realised the leak was there and managed to close it off again.
