  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

This is a really cool movie. I admit, when it first came out I was hoping it was another story with the same name. Now I'm glad it wasn't.

I rented this about a year ago. But I didn't have the patience to watch it. I was probably more interested in interesting scenes with Natalie Portman. I wasn't sure what to think about the guy from the TV show "Scrubs" who produced this film. In fact I've never really watched the TV show. I just haven't had the opportunity to. I feel better about him now after this film.

I really like this film. It doesn't have a major action plot. It's not too deep. But it keeps your interest. The settings are all great. I'm actually looking forward to more films made by Zach Braff.

I love Peter Skarsgaard.
I'm yet to see a film he's in that sucks. Seriously. Even Jarhead was okay. Crap, even The Salton Sea was okay.

Good movie, can't quite figure it out though haha
:scratch:This ain't a Mamet film, man.

How can you not like it? It's about a guy finding someone special after a traumatic time in his life, as well as reconnecting with a good friend. The fact that it has great music doesn't hurt either. I also like how it's kind of a rambling adventure story.

I like any movie that doesn't have a bad ending. The fact that it goes from bad to better and better really appeals to me.

I loved it, in the scene where his shirt matches the wallpaper in that room the expression on his face is hilarious and when he's getting all sad about his mum and stuff when they're sitting by the fire after swimming and she tap-dances to cheer him up? Its so cute :) (Hopefully I coloured in my little spoilers ok :p)
And the awesome soundtrack gets points too :) I love Zero 7 and Frou Frou, so I almost watch it as much for the music as the actual film. Hehe.
