Garden of Eden

Hello,

I have a question, in christianity where is the garden of eden, is it Paradise or is it on earth?

And am i right that Jehovah witnesses believe that it is on the earth?

Anyone can help me out?

So the Christians don't know exactly, i have read the two articles but so christians do maybe believe it's on earth not in heaven?

It was placed between 4 rivers found in: Genesis 2:10-14, “A river watering the garden flowed from Eden; from there it was separated into four headwaters. The name of the first is the Pishon; it winds through the entire land of Havilah, where there is gold…The name of the second river is the Gihon; it winds through the entire land of Cush. The name of the third river is the Tigris; it runs along the east side of Asshur. And the fourth river is the Euphrates.” The exact identities of the Pishon and Havilah rivers is unknown, but the Tigris and Euphrates rivers are well known.

This should put the garden somewhere in Iraq, most like under the sands of the desert. As we all know Iraq is very much on earth. So no, Christians do not believe that the garden of eden is heaven or in heaven.

Read the book of Revelation. You'll quickly learn that Eden will be restored to the earth when God makes all things new. He didn't take it up into the heavens but rather hid and guarded Eden from mankind due to our fall.
