What's the best way to keep clutter form collecting on top of a TV?

We have decorations on top, so that it looks good but there's no room to put anything else.

A funny t.v. story. My husband and I were the unfortunate victims of a robbery two years ago. The thieves broke in and took all our electronics..(everything easy to carry, that they could sell for drugs), while we were at work. We had a whole line of stuffed animals on top of our 23" set. The burglars kindly moved the entire bunch of animals to a rocking chair before they stole the set! A kinder and gentler bunch of thieves????? Blessings....

Are you insinuating I am short? As for H2O, does not mix well with TV...so yes, but sparingly.

If I put plants on top of our TV, I'd need a chair to get them up & down & a tasteful series of pictures to hide them behind so my husband wouldn't see them & freak over buckets of dirt on his TV
