Hello.

I want to ask your help in finding as many games as we can. My plan is to have a gathering, a small party to discuss new year's objectives but also to have fun while playing some games and maybe eating pizza with the youth group from my church(age 15-25, we'll be 15-20 persons). I am responsible with finding some games we can all play. It was really not a good idea to point me, because I did not go to many places to play games, so I only know the Mime Game ( mime words, expressions, movies...) . So please, any suggestions are welcome. Or if you find the description online please give me the link.

Be blessed!

Scattergories is a fun game. Basically it's 12 categories per round and you roll a 20-sided die with letters on it (they drop tough letters like X and Z) and you have to come up with something that fits each category starting with that letter. I think it has 14 rounds, but I could be wrong on that. After time is up, each person reads their answers and all duplicates are crossed out. Whatever is left is scored and most points at the end wins.

Pictionary is also good for large groups.

I am an advisor for my churche's youth group.

Pictionary is definitly a favorite in our group. Usually we will put together 2 teams, and an adult will write something down, only showing the answer to the person drawing, who will draw it on our dry erase board. Only his/her team can guess, and if they don't guess correctly within a minute the other team get's a chance to get the point.

If you have someone that own's one, you can take turns playing a Wii also if you have the proper hook ups. We had a group of all-boys at a time and did a Madden NFL tournament and had a blast.

Catch Phrase! You can buy it almost anywhere. This has always been a family fun time go to game. You could make it yourself pretty easily too, just make a list of a hundred words or so, cut them up, put them in a hat, and then separate into two teams. One person from the team draws a word out of the hat and has to describe it to their teammates who must guess it in 30 seconds (or however long you want to set) and if they are unable to, the other team gets 1 chance to guess it, and then team 2 gets to go.
