  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

For what type of an audience is this?

EDIT: Sorry, allow me to refine this a bit;

What type of an audience, not being the age range and gender, would this be for? Is this intended for serious study, casual fellowship, or just as a means of entertainment?

Hello,

I'm looking for CHRISTIAN BASED icebreaker games for a Bible devotional.

The attendants will be all female aged 25-55. I thought about a jeapordy type forum referencing the women in the bible, but would like to expand BEYOND women issues.

Any ideas?

They are most welcomed
:prayer:
What about Bible celebrity heads? You get three or so volunteers and stick a sign behind their heads saying what Bible character they are and then they have to guess it by asking the others simple yes/no questions. It could be a good laugh.

Just a thought,
Stu :)

For my sunday school class (9th & 10th grade guys). i put the books of the bible in a bag, than in another i put several numbers and they would draw a book of the bible and two numbers, and we would read that verse and discuss it. some negative points is sometimes oyu have to draw a couple times and sometimes you get some strange verses (i.e. Geneologies) but i turned out to be really fun and they enjoyed it. plus we got to read some passages that we normally we wouldnt have read.

This is similar to what Stu suggested, but instead of having just 2 or 3 people with names on their backs, you could have everyone have a name taped on their back of a Bible character. Everyone walks around the room and asks people yes or no questions to determine the identity of the name on their back. It's always fun and gets people walking around and meeting each other. If someone gets stuck and can't figure out the name on their back, you can give them clues.

I know other icebreakers but they're not exactly Christian persay, just general. We always do icebreakers at FCA at my college.
