Gamecube!!!

So I got that gamecube for my b-day!!

Gamecube is definitely the best gaming system. It's small, very user friendly, and the game discs are small and less cumbersome. The graphics are equal to any of the other systems. Purely for a gaming system, Gamecube has no superior.

Unfortunately, the game support for it (types of games available) leave it in the dust compared to the other two systems. The only reason I got a used PS2 (got a really good deal: system+controller+memory card+7 games [3 unopened] = $75) from someone is so I could get a couple of types of games that were not available on Gamecube --otherwise, I wouldn't have bothered.

PS2 has slower access times and is not anywhere near as user friendly.

Gamecube is good, but not that good. It does have a superior: Xbox. It's a fact. Better graphics, sound, and features. I'm basing this off system facts, not fanboy joy.

But I digress before a flame. Gamecube is great. I would suggest Tales of Symphonia and Mario Kart. Not to mention Metroid. Not so much Metroid 2...it's fun...but...eh, dull.

When buying a console, look at the game to console strengths. Certain consoles are prone to have better certain games.

PS2 is great for RPG lovers as well as franchise fan boys. PS2 loves getting a good game and popping out sequeals for it and no other new games. It's RPG library is quite great. I envy it.

Gamecube is for action and adventure/platformers. Nintendo has always been best at platformers and AAs since when they first started, that was really all you could make. It's also best for little kids. GCN gets games that are alot softer and cute.

Xbox is the FPS's HQ. Xbox is made for fast paced action and great graphics. That's what first person shooters are all about.

Not this time around. Ratchet and Clank, The Jak series and Sly Cooper have Mario beat to a pulp. I don't see Gamecube having any standout titles, really. Xbox really put a hurting on Cube with Halo's success and DOA/Ninja Gaiden etc.

The only saving grace will be the new Zelda finally done in 3-D. I think Nintendo will go the way of Sega very soon if things keep going like they are.

What I fear is a rumor buzzing around that the upcoming Zelda game (the 3D one) will be for the Nintendo Revolution (Gamecube 2). I hope not, because I don't plan on buying the GCN2.

Yes. Nintendo needs to swallow its pride and take some offers for some new games. FPSs are big now, they should try to ride that bandwagon.

I agree. I like all the systems. There are some games that I like for PS2 that aren't on gamecube as well.

I disagree. Nintendo has always catered more towards kids than older teens and adults, so why should they start making FPS games? Besides, I like not having to wade through a score or more of ****** FPS games to find the one adventure/RPG/platformer I'm looking for. Something not so easily done on the PS2 or Xbox.

Oh and BTW: Just so y'all know, I don't care for most FPS games. So if I'm dissin on them, that's why. I do tend to make blanket statements about them unless I've played a particular game.

they are already starting to make more FPS games, and alot more mature stuff and very little kiddy stuff. You should see whats coming out and what just came out.
