These verses spoke specifically to me when my own husband turned on me when I had two small children and pregnant with my 3rd. I turned to God, stepping out into the unknown, following His promptings. I clung tight to Him, and trusted Him that He would provide for me and my children. In spite of sleeping in doorways on a cold October night, I knew that He was there. He guided us and brought us safely through a Red Sea as it were. As it says in verse 5, my Maker became my Husband. He's all I had. He's all I needed.

Titus 3:4 - 7 But when the goodness and loving kindness of God our Savior appeared, he saved us, not because of works done by us in righteousness, but according to his own mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewal of the Holy Spirit, whom he poured out on us richly through Jesus Christ our Savior, so that being justified by his grace we might become heirs according to the hope of eternal life.

~ Ephesians 2:6 ~ God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus.

I just find this verse so amazing and inspiring! Right now, even as I sit in front of the computer writing this out, under the blood of the lamb, I am seated in Christ at the right hand of the Father. Wow! That He would do this for us is almost unbelievable to me! But yes, Lord, I believe!

God is omnipotent. He is all powerful.

1. Almighty; possessing unlimited power; all powerful. The being that can create worlds must be omnipotent.

2. Having unlimited power of a particular kind; as omnipotent love.

~ Romans 8:28 ~ And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.

Our God loves us and only wants the best for us. I believe that everything that comes into our lives is filtered through His loving hands, whether bad or good. Sometimes its hard to believe that He has allowed any hurtful situations to come along, but we can be assured that He will turn even the worst things around to our benefit in the end. What a blessing!

John 15:5 -

I am the vine, you are the branches. Those who abide in me and I in them are granted much fruit, because apart from me, you can do nothing.

This is my favorite verse in the NRSV Bible. It relates to me because last summer I went on a mission trip to the state of Montana. We stayed on an Indian Reservation of the Chippewa-Cree tribe.

In one of our Bible studies one night, I explained to the group that this passage related to us and our ministry to the people.

We, my group and I, were the vines, and we were reaching out to the people of the Chippewa-Cree tribe, who were the branches. Because vines wrap themselves around branches so they can grow better, that is what we did. We, the vines, would wrap ourselves in faith and love around the people of this tribe, the branches, to help them grow in faith and love with Jesus Christ.

This is my verse for the day! Praise His name!
God's mercy and loving kindness are never ending toward me. When I stumble, He picks me up. When I'm wayward, He turns me around. When I sin, He forgives me and smothers me with more love.

Justice and judgement are the habitation of thy throne: Mercy and Truth shall go before thy face

Ps 85:10 says
Mercy and truth are met together; righteousness and peace have kissed each other.

I received His mercy when Christ died on the Cross, and His Word, the Truth is writing a whole new book out of my life Day by day, I am being fashioned to image Him! Thank You Dear L-rd for Your Lovingkindness!

Great in counsel, and mighty in work: for thine eyes [are] open upon all the ways of the sons of men: to give every one according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings:

God has been a great a mighty counsel for me...and he will continue to be my gracious counselor for the rest of my life. When my path wavers His steady hand is there to guide me or to gather me into His arms again. Since He is the Word (John1:1), He has left me with a glorious letter that serves as a manual as well. Thank you God that you haven't and will never leave to my own devices...Your way are higher than mine...and since my ideas are hardly steadfast and far from true...I'm glad to follow you.

St. John 3:17 " For God hath not sent his son unto the world to condemn but yet that the world through him might be saved"

I think we all could learn alot from this verse if we try our best to live by it daily. God didnt sent us to this earth to condemn all of the people who arent saved but rather to try to win them to God and to tell them bout how much he loves them. I try my best very single day to do just that!

God is wonderful...He loved me, brought me peace, and is, and always wil be, the source of my life...regardless of anything I have done. Thank You Lord for your grace...I'm glad that life isn't fair...if it was I'd be headed for hell.

Matthew 6:31-34

For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble."

God will be our provider, when we make Him and His kingdom our priority we don't have to worry about our needs being met, because He will take care of it all.

God is Our Comforter.
The Comforter has come and is available to us.

This verse amazes me. The Lord God Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth rejoices over me! Me! God Himself finds pleasure in me. WOW! Even more than this though, I picture a loving parent soothing their child with a lullaby and I realize how much He loves me. Suddenly, He doesn't seem to be bigger than life and far away at all. It just makes me fall more in love with Him. Bless His Holy Name!

Psalms 27:13-14
13 I am still confident of this:
I will see the goodness of the LORD
in the land of the living.
14 Wait for the LORD ;
be strong and take heart
and wait for the LORD .

These verses encourage me to trust God, and to wait for Him to open doors in my life that I thought were closed. It encourages because it leads me to believe that God if I'm patient and rest in God's loving arms that he'll take care of everything.

These words help me gain even greater confidence in God's Word. The Almighty speaks and things happen. From the building up to the tearing down, we can be assured that His Word is truth and a force of action and power. Praise Him for His Living Word!

This awes me. He saves every tear we've ever cried, or will ever cry...in a bottle! Our tears are precious to Him. They are not wasted or lost. He saves all our griefs because when we are in pain He is. He remembers it all. Isn't that amazing? He understands us when we react to pain in various ways and He is surely ministering to us even when He doesn't appear to be there. He knows us better than we know ourselves. He knows the "us" that we will be even if we are oblivious to it.

I wasn't even aware of this verse until someone posted it. It struck me speechless. What a precious illustration of the Heart of our Abba.
