CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

False. The Christian friends I have are God focussed. I actually don't know any Christians who are focussed on money. But, they must exist because you're not the first person on this site to say that. I just haven't ever met one in person, myself.

True, but I find that to be challenge more than my faith. It seems everyone has an opinion on who I should be. Funny, but they all have different opinions, and haven't noticed that I'm doing pretty well with who I am. You just found my personal pressure cooker

True. I don't really mind picking up on what other people are feeling. What I mind is when they try to pretend that they're not feeling what they obviously are. My pastor used to say "tell your face ". I wish people would just own up to their feelings. But, no...feelings are bad. We're not allowed to have feelings. Even though, we all do.
