I thought that may be the case, it's called Religious Education. In Australia christian churches go to schools and run R.E classes.

When I was in junior/primary school it was a compulsory subject/lesson. Today it's mostly removed from schools and most students/parents choose NOT to do R.E lessons.

When I was in school I know the Luthern church did something....but it was like after school and at their church. I don't ever remember have R.E.

T/F Did you have to take sex education in school....health class? And if so....what did your parents say?

True. In my ninth year at school, what we call form 3 or year 9 we had sex ed.
Our parents had to sign a form to say we were allowed to do the class my parents agreed.

My mother was a Christian but my father was a athiest.

The program from what I remember answered questions that I had. However the program then had traditional moral standards, something that sex ed does not seem to have today.

T/F Do you think sex ed in schools gives parents a easy way to avoid responsibility?

True and False---true for those who do want to get out of it....and false for us that didn't let our kids take it!
I took the class and my mom and dad never even knew it until after the fact...no papers had to be signed....they did later on though!!

T/F You had the "talk" with the kids.
