What is the best game style?

I like FPS alot, but I also love Action/hack and slash.

My fave game styles were always Action/Adventure (like Zelda) and RPGs. Side scrolling or 3D, it doesn't matter to me. I like both equally.

Metroid Prime is another type I like a lot. First Person Adventure.

I like survival games. And action/adventure's good, too. Anything with puzzles.

1st person, RPG games are the only way to game!!

First person exploration. I like finding new places. Just walking off, no quests, just going around to new envioronments. Morrowind had some of that, but of course.... well see my fume on another Morrowind post for details

as far as games as a whole RPGs have always had a better story line accept for the acception of Halo, the only first person shooter game with a storyline i was impressed with. now for me i love driving, both simulated in video games and on the road so my favorite or the best to me rather is racing games: NFSU, SegaGT2002, PGR, PGR2, Midnight Club 2, Test Drive, Need For Speed High Stakes etc.

Good example of that is Castlevania SOTN! Tough to beat the the ol ways of the force lol.

FPS is good with a storyline, say mixed woth an RPG, but I don't know of any games like that. Hey, there's an idea...

I prefer strategy in all forms, whether RTS or turn-based. I have also been known to enjoy the odd racer too...
