Hi @disciple Clint

I suppose it's a matter of perspective, but I've never thought of not using government funds that were not needed as wasteful.

God bless,
Ted
Using them to help someone who is in need would not be a waste.

Amazing, just plain Amazing. Afghanistan was not an egregious mistake? Biden's recent speech in Georgia on voter rights did not involve calling people names? What is your news source, do you have one?

no I think we will just sit back and let his administration destroy itself, it is well on the way to having no support from his party.

In every way, can you provide any evidence of anything they have done that demonstrates competence
Connie Chung: “what newspapers and magazines do you read!?”
Sarah Palin: “All of them!”

Can you see how Ms Palin failed to adequately answer the query?

Guess who is sorry now
One could guess, or one could look at the data. Based on posts nitpicking the current administration, it seems to be people who didn't vote for them in the first place.

Perhaps they're sorry more people don't agree with their minority view. Or that the attempts to use violence to prevent Biden from being elected didn't work? Not sure what you're getting at here.

It's really bad when even his own party is against him.
Well, his own party isn't against him. A few key persons in leadership within the party have apparently stymied this particular attempt to undermine one of our important institutions, but it could be a different story when doing away with the Supreme Court or doing away with the Electoral College or doing away with the First or the Second or the Tenth Amendment is on the chopping block All of them are in that position currently, not just the attempt to do away with the filibuster in Congress for just this one particular vote.

Hi @disciple Clint

No, I don't see the draw out of Afghanistan as some 'disastrous' event. It was a hard pull out, but not significantly different from the hard pull out that we suffered after Vietnam. War isn't supposed to be fun and easy. But 'disastrous' is not how I would describe how we left Afghanistan.

Did Pres. Biden call people names in his Georgia speech? I don't remember hearing any. Did he point out some people, maybe, but that isn't name calling. At least not to me. Name calling is when you choose a derogatory sounding name to address someone or some group of people.

God bless,
Ted

Hi @disciple Clint

Ok, so we're agreed that either not using the monies given for pandemic relief or giving it to someone who might need the help, are neither wasteful. Good. The problem with me personally giving the money to someone that I know needs help is just probably not very productive in solving the larger problem. If the government had initially decided to only give the money to people who were adversely affected financially by the pandemic issues, then the government could have saved millions or billions and helped a multitude of people who needed it. My little giving away my money personally to someone I know likely isn't going to help the larger situation.

You come across as one who is pretty twisted up about the current political situation and I can only tell you that God doesn't want you to feel that way about the earthly government that rules over you. Be respectful and understand that the government has to deal with all 330 million of us...not just you.

God bless,
Ted

Perhaps you should review his approval ratings 33% is not a passing grade and indicates that many who voted for him are not happy now.

If following the plan of the one term ex-president was a mistake, you can understand why voters rejected him in record numbers.
that excuse is not valid, it has been proven to not be valid and I am shocked that anyone would even attempt to use it .

Wow Ted I am impressed you not only know what I am thinking but you also know what God is thinking, that is truly impressive. Now if you just give those who are in need the money you do not want all would be good
