I am using the unregistered version (Lite Edition) of Game Maker 7.0 just so you know.
This will be long but I spaced it so you can read easier.
read for about four and a half minutes then you should be

Also here is my game I am trying to make with Game Maker http://www.yoyogames.com/
It is called MegaPacMan.
It is going to be like http://www.mobygames.com/game/nes/mega-man-3
but also sort of with a mix of http://www.mobygames.com/game/nes/the-legend-of-zelda
but also sort of also (parnters joining) and battles that can be done like in
http://www.mobygames.com/game/snes/breath-of-fire
But here is what I do not know how to do even with scripting and coding:
#1: Make a boss be able to jump random chance of direction and be able to shoot like Pac Man (SpriteIndex) but be able to shoot other things to (A chance of doing so) also.
#2: Make experience, joining, levels, damage done based on defense and attack power say of PacMan to an enemy or Sara to an enemy etc.
#3: How to make "TALKING" to people like in BOF for SNES (Breath of Fire for Super Nintendo Entertainment System).
#4: Super Mario Bros. 3 Turtle kick and being able to hold and shoot.
#5: Make boss and being able to sail events like in http://www.mobygames.com/game/nes/dragon-warrior-ii
and also that health that gets taken away from Enemy1 has only effect on him not others like Enemy2, Pac Man, Sara etc.
Please help I know it is going to be a long reading.
