Do you know it took me a few minutes to work out that your post was both talking to lj and watching Stargate at the same time, and I read this post out to my hubby (who watches Stargate) and he said you must be watching reruns?!

Do you know he also said that he and my eldest son would love to come and watch Stargate (they love watching it, not my thing!) but its a bit to far to travel?

Do you know I think that must be really annoying for you and that I dont have a dryer at the moment, its winter here and my loungeroom looks like a laundrymat with clotheshorses and clothes everywhere?

ok now this can be quit complicated, but the easiest thing that can go wrong, a lot of people have a misconseption on this point, but it cannot be said enouph, is it plugged in?

lol now hold your well dressed horses Chrunchy, just checkin to see what would be said, simplist would be vibration or something causing plug to fall out, fuse, but if fuse blew id be more warry, did it make a bunch of rackette before it quit?

Would you believe the motor is a runnin when you turn it on, by the insides aren't a spinning, nor is there any heat?

hmm most are belt driven, the insides spins really easy (WHILE ITS OFF soos you dont hurt yourself) Id say the belts either broken of sliped. cant figure the heat unless it has a blower on the belt , or it needs sucktion from the innards spinnin, if ya smells like coils or somethin burning I wouldnt mess with , might shock ya or cause a fire. ? there is a website that can take you through step by step checkin problems???

I'm no good with fixing electronics, so I guess I will just leave it for the Landlord to figure it out; but do you know I thank you for trying to help me?

thanks, even if it was a belt ya usually have to move em out and get to the back, unless they make top loaders there would be a pop off plate on the front bottom, not sure i ever seen a top loading dryer though. its just what I do regardless, try to figure things out. did you say your moving to Washington?
