Isn't that what we did as a part of the Seder meal for our youth in our church...in order that they would understand some of the meaning of Passover, that the last supper was a Passover meal, and that Passover is a part of our Christian heritage....though no longer actively practiced....since Christ was very much in touch with his own Jewish heritage and the plight of the Israelites from their enslavement in Egypt?

(^_^ panting ...sorry, I ran out of breath on that one.)

Wow!

Even though, as you say, Passover is no longer actively practiced, wouldn't it be good for Christians to celebrate Passover (along with the other holidays (the Feast of Unleavened Bread, the Feast of Firstfruits,
the Feast of Weeks, the Feast of Trumpets, the Day of Atonement and the Feast of Tabernacles)) since they all have prophetic significance (ranging from Christ's ministry to His second coming) and are full of symbolism that points to Christ and are therefore relevent to us as Christians today?

/me turns blue from lack of oxygen.

(NOW DON'T GO AND FAINT ON ME OR ANYTHING LIKE THAT THEO! I COUDN'T FACE MYSELF IF THIS BROUGHT ANY HARM TO ANYONE ;) .)

Wouldn't it?

As a person who feels we lose understanding as we lose heritage.....both in faith and in our family histories...wouldn't I love it if we brought much of it back into our homes and worship? So, don't I gently integrate more of those things as I come to understand them better in my own family and work with a great youth director at our church who feels much the same?

(No faint, but definitely seeing stars for a second.)
