** GAME: Acts of Anonymity **

The idea of this game is to remain as anonymous as possible while doing any random acts of kindness for one/some/any of the people who post in this thread AHEAD of YOU. [In other words...you must not say you're playing this game!]

Sounds easy enough but let your conscience be your guide on this honor system since the catch is that you shouldn't post unless or until you have done your anonymous act of kindness to or for a person who has posted before you.

For example... Before I started this thread I gave someone some reputation points and/or I played with someone's cat and/or I left a guestbook entry and/or I blessed someone or bestowed a gift. Thing is...i didn't tell them i was playing a game. They got to feel special in their own right and didn't have to do anything to "earn" anything except that I had a feeling they'd done kindnesses to others who'd come before me.

The next person who posts in this thread would only have me to consider doing something kind for. Then when they did they'd post a completed act. Then the third person would consider me and/or the second person and would report back a completed act. The fourth person and so on.

Got the idea from the Guestbook Signing Game and tweaked it a little.

It sounds fun. I hope it's a go!

i got on here the day before yesterday, posted, then went on my business.. i was on 1 other new thread too...

someone "thoroughly equipped me" yesterday... they made sure i had a full suit of armor... THANK YOU if you saw my name on this board and did it! that was absolutely fantastic!

it just made me think of the scripture that the armor idea came from in the first place, and ends with: "...so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work."...

be assured, i was extremely encouraged, and it really affected me huge, cuz' for those who didn't know, in the last 7 days, i have found out one of my children is critically ill (6 years old), 3 of my children got strep--or mononucleosis, they are not sure, cuz' the symptoms are there, but the strep test is negative, so that's a bad sign PRAY IT IS STREP ONLY--and my rebellious child has to go for yet a 3rd trip to the doc, cuz' they think she has cancer. (16 years old)

so, just in case you see this board, thank you thank you thank you... i had done a lot of praying and fasting, and as of yesterday, i am very much at peace... --the cancer thing is kind of new.. i never admitted it on this board till this morning..
