There's definitely a rush when you win. As my daughter says "not unlike doing drugs". If I was physically able I would still be playing slots. The atmosphere of a casino is another thrill unlike any other except maybe a fair:)
I once won1199. 0f course that only increases your interest.

For me it's a lot like playing video games. I want to see what the machine does when I get a bonus. My goal isn't to win a ton of money so I don't bet a lot. People who get into debt are presumably those thinking gambling will be a short cut to a million dollars.

I don’t gamble. There is still risk you can develop an addiction to it. I personally (for example) would never date someone who likes to gamble. I know it sounds judgemental but for me it is being realistic. Im not judging if someone is having fun time doing that but I don’t see that something I would want to be involved in any way, all the time. I could try poker or something but not regularly.
