Probably depends on your POV. Many chickens have died for the friers. The total number of currently live chickens on any given day has probably risen, because of the increased demand.

He was and his franchise is a great ally of some Galliforms. Their tasty Galliform based fast food has greatly increased their selective advantage over many animals, which has resulted in vast amounts of them being able to pass on their genes. Provided the franchise remains popular then the future of Galliforms is assured.

It's not a justification but an observation, large species that tend to do well on this planet tend to be creatures that humans find useful. If a species has a trait that humans find useful and that species can be domesticated then it will have a survival advantage in a human dominated environment.
