The geocentrists will cite you Scripture all day. According to the Bible, the earth does not move because it is set on foundations (1 Chronicles 16:30, Psalms 93:1, Psalms 96:10,2 Samuel 22:16, Psalms 18:15, Psalms 102:25, Proverbs 8:27-29, Isaiah 48:13, John 17:24). On the other hand, the heavenly bodies are described as moving about the earth (Joshua 10:12-13, Habakkuk 3:11, Psalms 19:4-6, Ecclesiastes 1:5). The picture is pretty clear: the earth is still and the heavens rotate about it. That's geocentrism. Heliocentrists wickedly deny the Bible by interpreting these verses metaphorically or by using an accommodationist hermeneutic. They subscribe to an atheist philosophy. Their faith is not as strong as that of the geocentrists.
