Not bad for an indie game developer/publisher that has 0 copy protections on its game except for the serial number when you want to get patches. You don't even need to enter it in when you install the game. And the game also only costs $40.

Certain undesirables like the makers of the StarForce copy protection get red eye thinking about this, which is why a company representative actually linked to an illegal torrent (this is just a screenshot that the Galciv2 developers took) the game.

Kinda like the mafia.

I bought that game about a month ago now, I am surprised anyone besides me knew about it. I love the game a lot, but because it was not considered a major title, I don't talk about it much. Gee, I like it at least twice as much as SW Empire at War and it's a turn based game. If you like that sort of game, get it.

Well i just bought it last night.
I didnt realize it was a turn based game, or i wouldnt have bought it.
I was hoping for more of a command and conqure game in outer space, which it kindof is, but in the turn base style. It is more like civilization 4.

After playing the game for a little while in campaign mode, i realy got into it. I will keep playing it since it is enjoyable. I still have a lot to figure out, like why i cant just inhabit any empty planet etc...
