In Daniel 9, Daniel does not see a picture, no vision. He receives words from Gabriel.
The vision Gabriel was referring to - is the vision that Daniel had of the little horn, and the transgression of desolation the little horn will commit at the time of the end.
I have never heard anyone else address parts of Daniel 9 like I have - agreed. And also parts of Matthew 24. And also the timing of the Rapture. And also the explanation of the heads/horns/crowns in Revelation 17/12/13. And also that it is Jesus Himself speaking in Ezekiel 39:21-29.No one else on the planet.
Past or present.
Not one.
The 490 years will be complete when Jesus Returns.
Doesn't that cause you to pause? Wouldn't that mean it's forging a new religion, if a person can't find any agreement?I have never heard anyone else address parts of Daniel 9 like I have - agreed. And my charts are unique. The transgression of desolation of Daniel 8:12-13 is adjacent to the rider on the red horse.
24 Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy. Can you show us your claim above in the Bible?
As BABerean2's post explains, "to seal up" isn't being used to refer to Daniel's words as the last words of prophecy.and to seal up the vision and prophecy"
Jesus gave many prophecies in new testament, including the events right before His Return. The 490 years will be complete when Jesus Returns
The only concern I have is that there is so much wrong teaching and understanding out there regarding eschatology. And the apathy.Doesn't that cause you to pause? Wouldn't that mean it's forging a new religion, if a person can't find any agreement?
Throughout the Bible, the importance of two or more being in agreement is mentioned. God doesn't give private revelation. What He reveals is for His Church, as a Body.
The Jews, Jerusalem haved yet to say - blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord. These 490 years were determined in order to complete the fulfillment of prophecy given to Daniel's people and regarding Daniel's city (ancient Jerusalem). There was a "time of the end" determined.
We wouldn't be here writing on a forum that honors Jesus as God, if the faithful remnant from the 12 tribes hadn't recognized their Messiah. Only the faithful were "Daniel's people" and children of Abraham:The Jews, Jerusalem haved yet to say - blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord.
Matthew 23:39 For I say unto you, Ye shall not see me henceforth, till ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord.
Building an entire doctrine out of only one verse will lead a person in the wrong direction. The Jews, Jerusalem haved yet to say - blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord.
Matthew 23:39 For I say unto you, Ye shall not see me henceforth, till ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord.
...Jerusalem rejected Jesus as it's King. And later rejected the gospel of Salvation which puts an end to sin's power to eternally destroy.Building an entire doctrine out of only one verse will lead a person in the wrong direction.
This verse is words from Jesus, spoken directly to the apostate religious leaders. He's actually signaling His presence (God's presence) departing from them. He didn’t see them again.
Woes to Pharisees and Scribes:
"Matthew 23 BSB" Matthew 23 BSB
Jesus didn't want to be King of earthly Jerusalem. It was empty of God's presence (that's what it means that "your house is left desolate"). Eathly Jerusalem was made a harlot....an idolatrous city.Jerusalem rejected Jesus as it's King
The Jews rejected Jesus and then later the gospel of Salvation.Jesus didn't want to be King of earthly Jerusalem. It was empty of God's presence (that's what it means that "your house is left desolate"). Eathly Jerusalem was made a harlot....an idolatrous city.

However....Jesus's faithful followers from the 12 tribes didn't reject Him. They made Him their King of the unshakable Kingdom.
Hebrews 12:28
Therefore, since we are receiving an unshakable kingdom, let us be filled with gratitude, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe.
As with Noah.....God enters into Covenant with those who are faithful. Jesus's faithful remnant from the 12 tribes formed the foundation of our Church (John the Baptist..Mary, the mother of Jesus, the disciples, the 3,000 at Pentecost etc....were ALL from the 12 Tribes). The Jews rejected Jesus and then later the gospel of Salvation.
Zechariah 9:9 Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion; shout, O daughter of Jerusalem: behold, thy King cometh unto thee: he is just, and having salvation; lowly, and riding upon an ass, and upon a colt the foal of an ass.
The 70 weeks are not complete until the Jews, Jerusalem, embrace Jesus as their King and the gospel of Salvation. The last week is still unfulfilled.
The 70 weeks don't end with failure with Daniel's people the Jews and Jerusalem. The 70th week is still unfulfilled, when the Jews, Jerusalem will embrace Jesus and the gospel of Salvation. As with Noah.....God enters into Covenant with those who are faithful. Jesus's faithful remnant from the 12 tribes formed the foundation of our Church. The timeline for Daniel's people ended in 34 AD. (490 years from the edict to rebuild Jerusalem in 457 BC).
How was the formation of our Church considered "failure"? How is Acts 2 ....."failure"?The 70 weeks don't end with failure with Daniel's people the Jews and Jerusalem. The 70th week is still unfulfilled, when the Jews, Jerusalem will embrace Jesus and the gospel of Salvation.
Please go back and read my statement. The 70 weeks pertains to the Jews, and Jerusalem. How was the formation of our Church considered "failure"? How is Acts 2 ....."failure"?
Acts 2 - Gift of Holy Spirit
I realize that. Our early church *were* Jews, from the 12 tribes. The earthly Jerusalem's destruction had been spoken of from the very beginning. The curse of not honoring their part of the covenant was laid out by Moses (Deuteronomy 28:15-67):Please go back and read my statement. The 70 weeks pertains to the Jews, and Jerusalem.
But the Jews and Jerusalem as a people has yet to embrace Jesus and the gospel of Salvation. The 70 weeks are still unfulfilled.I realize that. Our early church *were* Jews, from the 12 tribes. Deuteronomy 28:62......but the faithful remnant are all part of His unshakable and eternal Kingdom.
You who were as numerous as the stars in the sky will be left few in number, because you would not obey the voice of the LORD your God.
