I have the first two seasons of that DVD set. As bad as the animation was, and as cheesy as the script was, it was still one of the greatest cartoons of the 80s. ThunderCats comes a very close second.
I'm really disappointed at the current Transformer nonsense that they're showing on my television. Bleh!

I think... that they should re-do ALL of the original episodes and just put it in a 2004 setting. Bring back Spike and his dad.
Of course, this would make Soundwave somewhat obsolete since nobody really carries around a "Ghetto Blaster" anymore. Maybe he can become an MP3 player?
