Jack went in Jenny's bedroom and closed the door.
Jack: Jenny I don't want to yell at you or punish you. I just want to make things better between us and make sure you will never fight unless you have to. I believe you only fought in self defense and I will talk to the principal tommorow about that. Goodnight. I love you.

Jack went down to the kitchen and made himself some eggs. He saw Jenny eating cereal and he went to sit by her.

( I was thinking of Jack witnessing a crime and having terroists after him so he has to go to a safe house. Not even Sue can know where he is and Jenny misses him. He works from the safe house trying to figure things out while Sue and everybody else works on it to. If you want to use this idea or a variation of it let me know. Let me know if you want to use your own to.)

Jack: We are doing ok. It is a little rough but I think we are doing better. See you tonight.
Jack continued on his jog when all of a sudden he noticed a struggle in an alley. He was going to go break it up when he saw a gun being pulled out. Jack could tell it had a silencer and since it was a pretty hard alley to access the shooter probablly would have never been noticed if Jack's trained eye hadn't seen a slight struugle. He desperately wished he had his gun or bullet proof vest but since he was off duty he didn't have either. He watched helplessely as the other guy was shot. He was about to head back to where he had just talked to Bobby so he could have back up when the shooter noticed him. The shooter took a shot at him but missed. As the man stepped out of the shadows he thought he recognized him but he really couldn't get a good look since he was running for his life. He got out into a crowded area and the shooter hid his gun and hurried off.
