  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

The wrong side is the side with the glue (the side that gets fused to the garment fabric).

Just curious, what are you making? Usually when you use interfacing, you cut two mirror-image pieces, one for the left side of the outfit you're making, and one for the right. Or else you're cutting something that doesn't matter which which way you cut it,, like a collar or waistband. If I knew what you were doing, maybe I could help you make sure you're cutting it right.

When you make a garment, some parts of it need reinforcement to withstand wear and tear. These would be things like collars, cuffs, waistbands, or the front edge of a blouse where the buttons or buttonholes go. There's a special type of fabric called interfacing that's used to line these areas. Fusible interfacing has a layer of heat-activated glue on one side so you can fuse it to the garment with a hot iron.
